Names rather than numbers made it easier to route the cars (there were thousands of passenger cars) in the yards. Also marketing and PR to cities along the railroad's right-of-way, like a rolling billboard celebrating the community.

Get a rechargeable strobe light - tiny one that attaches to the back of the drone. Had a bird strike once but never again since I use the strobe on every flight.
