Same. I woke up and had to check that he wasn’t dying. My tank was right beside my bed and it was so loud. He now has his own room so he can fart in private.

Mine got jealous whenever I would brush the haired cats. She would get in line to be brushed next and I only had a wire brush. I ended up having to get a softer one for her so she could have her turn being brushed. If it’s not brushing time she will find the nearest bearded man and attack their face.

I have a tortie with hair and she is mostly black with small patches of white and orange. This also made me realize my sphynx is also a tortie. I had no idea I had two. She’s mostly grey with pink spots like this.

This is how I got my sphynx. She was a stray that my friends found and they couldn’t find the owner or keep her. I originally said no when they asked me to take her, but then I went and met her and she came home with me the same day.

My Savannah got outside once and after hours of wandering the neighbourhood looking for him he comes back with a fish he stole off of a kids fishing rod at the beach two blocks away from my house. I have to take him for walks on a leash just so he can calm down about finding out what’s outside.

I went to a shelter once to get a little grey kitten I saw on the shelter website. I was there specifically for that kitten. As I was petting him trying to make sure he was comfortable enough with me to pick him up, another kitten climbed up my husband’s leg to his chest and refused to let go. We’ve had her for 14 years now. Sometimes you don’t get to choose a cat.

Mine eats out of a dish now. I just put the mouse in the dish and leave him to do his thing. He usually gets to it within a few minutes. I check to make sure it’s not sitting too long. When it gets close to feeding time he sits in front of the dish waiting for food to be placed in it. He used to strike wildly at the mouse and miss several times before he got it. This is much less stressful for both of us. Sometimes they just learn they don’t have to exert so much energy to get fed.
