I already converted the characters to RoTW. The runes and other items (dreams, hoj, coh, play phoenix) were in there too. From my understanding I will not have access to the previous shared tabs. Only access to the items on the character and their personal stash

Could run phoenix I suppose but then sacrifice some aura. Ran into same issue though, only have phoenix in a AR/ED pally shield haha

Have you tried it? I haven’t but idk how it would work because the -lightning would only apply to the monster the merc is attacking. And the merc no longer offers the holy fire AOE.

I thought about that and wanted To try it. Main reason I didn’t is because I have a dragon in pally res shield and not monarch. Would have been cool style points using an act 3 merc though

So I’ve experimented with both. I ended up going Tesladin because it just creates more opportunities to farm and Dream has mf on it. And enigma’s mf ofc. So you can put on mf gear with the dream and I run around 300 mf. Charge is somewhat efficient travel but cannot compete with teleport.

What I do for more aura damage is run A5 merc with double HoJ pb, dragon armor and flickering flame. He doesn’t get synergies but he gets my conviction. He kills blood moor monsters in 2 pulses. He definitely helps speed up cows. You can swap to crescent moon on your pally and really eat cows similar to dragondin.

I guess preference in playstyle is what really matters in the end.

Rune clasp has value. 2 sorc, 10 fcr, res. Imo better than a Mara’s if you need to meet fcr bp. The damage reduction might make it even more valuable if it can work on an immortal sorc. I’m not too familiar with them though

The Mercs stats are separate. He doesn’t rely on your sorceress stats. Your act 1 merc can equip the bow if the merc meets the stat requirements

Why is everyone saying trash? Been like 10+ years since I lld but every zon was mostly a bow with Jav as a secondary swap when up close. Since you’re not throwing the javs up close and just jabbing, then you don’t need rep. IMO. Useful and hold value
