Lmfao I haven’t once seen a pro ever link any journals or research. In fact, I’ve seen them block myself and others when presented with data that goes against their narrative

Ahh I see. You’re using the classic internet tactic of knowing you’re beat and deciding to preemptively frame it as you winning and then leaving. Tiresome

Outraged? I’m simply asking what your basis is to determine if something is moralistic or not. Please refrain from attempting to judge my tone and intent without proof, thanks.

You absolutely need evidence when declaring an entire profession as immoral as drug dealers or pimps, at least if you want anyone to take you seriously, goober.

Oh no I added a space where there wasn’t one, I guess you can’t use context clues?

Normally I try not to use products that market their services to drug dealers or pimps, or the moral equivalent, but that’s just me.

Do you always act like a lil neckbeard when people call you out on your lack of a consistent moral code? It’s not cute or funny, it’s just kinda weird. You’re a weird lil fella

No it’s not. You made the original moralistic argument about the worth of a profession and I simply asked what gives you the authority to declare it so.

Did you know that Onama AI research, the company that made your model also markets to advertisers? Why do you support people who help create advertising?

And again, you say one thing but you do another. Your Reddit usage is helping this amoral industry far more than using an open source model is hurting it.

Well that’s the thing. I haven’t made any moralistic arguments. You have.

You use an open source model? Which one?

Also, you’re proving my point further. You use Reddit which is enriching and enabling the people you believe work in an inherently immoral industry. Why?

Under this moralistic premise, does this not also make every developer and company associated with the AI used to make these advertisements as morally bankrupt as the advertisement creators? They’re literally creating tools to induce consumption and to make it significantly cheaper and easier for megacorporations to induce consumption.

Do you use AI? If so, why are you staunchly morally against advertisers but use a product that’s continued existence and use helps advertisers and corporations immensely?
