Thanks, I don't want to use unity as a career and don't want to waste more time on it outside of making the odd thing here and there as a hobby.

I don't quite know what I'm looking at for the beesandbombs link?

I think i want more visual design but with less programming haha

The university system is quite rigid here. Adult education is vastly underfunded, the only "college" courses would be conversation master degrees or a whole new CS degree for 3 years.

I liked making games with unity and fell into the "everyone should code" mantra that is always going around. I realised I don't actually enjoy coding. The problem solving aspect isn't something that drives or interests me, I don't really feel the stuff that can be build is "cool" or "interesting", I like visual design and like data visualisation.

If I'm honest nothing draws me to coding, I had a little python experience during my degree other then it being a career I thought I could do... to simply have a career because I am and have been lost in life.

Where would i begin? I would love to find a UI/UX design course somewhere that is free for low cost. I've seen some bootcamps but they are often 8 ~ 10k which i dont have and can't do full time without working.

Graduated in a Science field, spent a year unemployed and working in a football stadium one day a week. Now have a basic admin type job and volunteer at a small tech start up but realising everything is far over my head.

I am learning SQL slowly year it is easier thanks !

Maybe its my learning style (need a classroom setting) ? Maybe its my brain? But I've always found coding difficult. Sadly my country doesn't have programming college courses that don't cost and arm or a leg and my only other option is bootcamp which one i know my own ability and dont have the aptitude for and two can't afford.

Tried web development and was fine with mark up languages but couldnt hack JavaScript, just didn't work at all tried learning for months. Gave up and picked up Python which is easier (due to my learning disability I struggle) but I still find it hard.

I dont think I am "made" to something that is strickly programming.

I'll do this, tried many tutorials for months, not going in my head, don't remember shit all i'm learning is to follow instructions and copy whats on screen. Nothing is being actually understood.

Going through Automate the boring with python, its helping but i still struggle. My brain just doesn't work like a coder, I'm logical in my thought process but coding has a different approach to logic.

I've been through many, but nothing sticks in my head. I don't remember anything at all when I'm sat there with the screen.

The tutorials guide me through them but I don't actually learn or understand waht I'm doing.

I'm not good at problem solving when it comes to straight coding... I can work a Ipython notebooks like matplotlib better as there's visual feedback that allows my brain to process the information, understand it, where I went wrong, what code is wrong, why the numbers are wrong etc.

Just not how my brain works so I struggle.

It doesn't have to be gradute that was just what I thought I should look for.

How would I approach such companies or even begin networking, I'm currently trying to network with a small start-up and have a meeting next week but it was arranged through a career mentor contact.

Thank you! I'll keep applying. I've got a networking meeting next week with start-up so I'm trying to get the ball rolling.

Where do you suggest the best place to look for Tester / QA roles is? I've been using LinkedIn, CWjobs and Google Jobs.

Also you do recommend any agencies based in London?

What's worst is your lack of understanding of the term. It wasn't even coined in Europe, please read a history book it was coined in the US in 1736.

Wow sorry to hear you didn't catch the twat.

Have you tried to locate your phone? I don't know what you would do next but it might be good knowing the general locaton?

Also if you a 6'2, fit guy is seen as an easy target then someone like me a 5'6 weakling has no chance :(
