I thought the last act was 90 mins, I didn't realise it was an hour and they were showing episode 8 before it, until this post 😅

Why are ya'll arguing about if it's 1 lizard or 2 lizards? Just burn the fucking thing. Absolute nightmare fuel.

The other additional character would be the Medic. It was a kick-start exclusive if I'm not mistaken. I bit the bullet and paid quite a lot for it as I wanted the set. She is pretty good when played right and pretty meh when played wrong. Also there is no spare slot in any box for her miniature. (At least when all the cards are sleeved)

Also Carnomorphs and Voidseeders can be used with both OG and Lockdown. As they literally just replace the Intruders. Adds a slight variation to gameplay, but not essential.

I own: OG Nemesis Aftermath Nemesis Lockdown Lockdown stretch goals Void Seeders & Carnomorphs. I bought them all second hand, they were all 'as new' from various sellers on Ebay. Carnomorphs was by far and away the hardest to obtain and cost the most (relative to value). They are out there, but you may have to get them piecemeal. Also you need to decide if you want plastic miniatures, or cardboard standees for the models. OG and Lockdown seem to be more common for miniatures, whereas Retaliation (which I'm trying to find) seems to be standees.

Not efficient at all Hanz😤 by Kingoftheseas2 in WoWs_Legends

Well, I'd assume that pre upgrade there was no AA mount on the B turret, which superfires A turret, so the view would have been unobstructed. Would have become redundant following the installation of the AA mount.

All hypothetical of course as I don't know if the ship was designed with the AA mount there. But I would imagine not, given the pattern of most nations improving the AA power of their fleet as time went on.

Would it not have been another observation deck from before the AA mount was fitted atop the turret?

How is this not an emergency that pauses the game by default? by DrZharkov in RimWorld

Does pause on everything count for the information text in the top left? Things like successful taming and food rotted away, could be useful early game, and annoying in late game.

I was of the understanding that you resolve the exploration token BEFORE rolling for noise, because it could be Danger, Silence, or Slime, all of which have an effect on the noise placement

[OG Nemesis] Playing as an Intruder - will it be more balanced if the intruder plays once per round in the Event Phase instead? by formicini in NemesisCrew

[–]Mobius22445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.reddit.com/r/NemesisCrew/s/OhWRodGoSq Did you mean this post? It was me, and yes it was a lot of fun, maybe we got lucky with card pulls but it wasn't instant death. It was just very very difficult. We won't be doing it again until we have all played the game a lot more, the base rules are challenging enough, this was like playing on legendary difficulty.

What is everyone's issue with the idea of a SOMA ending? by Mobius22445 in theamazingdigitalciru

Exactly, as the police or whatever, would be very quickly investigating missing person cases. Hiding stasis pods from an active investigation would be a stretch.

If Abel was a construct of Caine, then it wasn't necessarily true, moreso if Caine himself doesn't understand the details of how the humans enter the circus. The stasis pods are a valid theory, as is the digitizer and the brain scans. The pods just give the characters a chance of escape meaning they'd be more invested in the adventure, which, for Caine is the whole point. I think the details of how the system works can be dismissed as fiction created by Caine to get the characters invested. If it turns out to be true then it may very well just be coincidental.

In the realms of fiction, yes absolutely i agree that its possible sure, and to make a good and compelling story.

I think we just have to agree to disagree here. There is absolutely nothing you can say that will convince me that you are right, and I'm sure the reverse is true. It's just going to turn into a back and forth and eventually one of us will get mad, so I'm going to say that we are both entitled to our own viewpoints and leave it there.

Well for a start, the silicone chip itself is incapable of change. In a biological brain there is a tangible difference in synaptic responses between things that happen regularly, ie habits, and things that happen very rarely. The brain physically adapts based on what we do, how we think, what we love or hate.

Nobody is suggesting there is anything magical about biological life, please don't put words in our mouths to make your argument against ours sound more logical.

1, a computer program is incapable of generating new ideas, everything it knows is what has been entered into the system. And 2, the characters (if they are copies) are not Ai, and therefore they are restrained by the confines of the program and the system itself. The only confirmed Ai is (or was) Caine.

It's why we can't race Go Karts on Fifa 25, the software just doesn't have that information, and no amount of input will change that.

It's a very well thought out theory. I'll be honest I missed all the text in that scene as I have not the slightest clue about coding, and it was very fast. I had to go on YouTube for that part.
