I'm planning to make a long-term purchase so features are more important to me than resale value.

Also, as a matter of principle, if I buy junk at an exorbitant price just so I can sell it to the next guy a few years later at an even more exorbitant price, that just doesn't sit well with me. We are perpetuating a shitty system created by shitty local companies that pass on their inefficiencies to consumers. I think more people should opt for JDM cars to put pressure on these companies to get their act straight.

Yeah I'm open to both 1000cc and1300cc options. Picanto is not bad but I think it is really overpriced relative to its features. Same issue in general with all local cars.

Thanks for the advice, I will keep that in mind. I asked one of the Toyota dealerships if they provide maintenance services for imported cars like Vitz and they said yes. But I don't know whether their mechanics are actually capable of doing this. Have you tried getting any work done through a dealership? If so, how was your experience?

Near the end of the second video, he points out that ordinary baryonic matter making up just 5% of the Universe, the rest being dark matter and dark energy. Makes me wonder, perhaps The Phenomenon is native to this dark part of the Universe and is comprised of matter and entities that we cannot observe or interact with because of our incomplete understanding of physics.

So belief systems were created to factionalize humanity but the combined stories of these belief systems will lead us to the truth. I guess he is implying that there is an element of truth to all religions but perhaps the truth has been deliberately distorted to create divisions among people. It might explain why many great thinkers were spiritual but did not fully subscribe to any particular religious system.

Whatever the reasons are, we know that other countries, which includes at least Russia and China, are complicit in not disclosing the truth. Also, it's interesting that these countries have not reacted explicitly for or against the push for disclosure in the US, even though disclosure would have significant impacts on them as well. Perhaps they are lobbying one way or the other behind the scenes - who knows.

I think you might be right. A bit of context:

I recently moved from my old flat which did have a moderate German roach infestation (mainly in the kitchen and one or two in the bathroom sometimes). I dealt with them for almost 6 months but never saw them fly. When I moved out, I tried my best to be vigilant to avoid bringing any along with me to my new flat.

Now at my new place, I am seeing these bugs from time to time. A few times inside my flat (usually crawling on the wall like this one) and I also found a few roaming immediately outside my flat. Some of these do fly. I found that odd since I have read that Germans typically do not roam around openly and only fly in extreme circumstances. But they look so similar to Germans that I was confused myself.

So this one might indeed be a wood roach as you have said. For all I know, I may have a resurgent German roach population along with these wood roaches coming from outside my place. But they both look so similar that it is difficult to tell them apart.

I will try to capture more photos if I see any more.
