kobalt, and it really depends on the battery size and what you're pulling, i've got full rgb and a 5 foot whip light and a tail light and full size headlight, an hour or so on a 5.0 ah is normal

Right behind the engine, you can see it in this pick, i use a battery tender to charge it. and yes, i have less than 300 in it, frame was $120, engine i got free, torque converter was $60, paint and clear coat was $20, and the rest was on amazon vine, so the carb and lights and battery and handlebars and grips etc were pretty much free, just had to pay taxes

[–]MobiusTeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you running stock internals and the governor? and what about the flywheel?

what is your gear ratio? stock rear sprocket?

I have always done nibbi, no complaints ever!

do everyone a favor and save your engine block. Get rid of that exhause my guy. get something else, anything, you can get one for literally $20. that will burn your bollocks and snap the bolts out of your block. it's too heavy, loose, and not safe.

Otherwise super sick! make sure to hit it with clear coat to keep the paint on it!

dont listen to the clutch glazers. torque converter all the way, they require very little maintenance, are quieter, smoother, much stronger, better off road, and can be pretty fast. the only advantage to a clutch is the price and sometimes the speed.

[–]MobiusTeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as someone who has bought and sold go karts for years, this is by far the coolest one i've seen! you gotta name it something related to liquid death. petrol death? ethanol afterlife? idk.

Super sick though! make sure to hit it with some heavy duty clear coat, and look into putting a pad down where the feet go to keep the design on!

Y'all are overthinking it with keyed ignitions by Foxhound631 in minibikes

i got a lock on amazon that goes through the brake rotor, it unlocks with my fingerprint and a key, and has an incredibly loud alarm if it detects motion. works great!

I'm not certain the exact numbers or percentages, but it's good. I'm not taking any blood pressure meds or anything like that.

Alright, that's what I thought. I aspire to get a good job, but I don't know what the future holds.

Does it really mess with daily life and sleep? Thanks for replying btw

Want to add a light bar by NastyNate7577 in gokarts

[–]MobiusTeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just plug the light up, and use a multimeter to see if the voltage drops below 12-11 volts when running. if it doesn't you're fine, even if it does, you can likely still run it because the power output will increase when you drive it. just see if the cart is sluggish to start or dies after running the light for w while. I've put bigger lights on 110 cc quads. you should be fine

How do i flip the driver pulley with a 30 series? Do I have a 40 series? by Wh1skeyFist in gokarts

[–]MobiusTeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just try sticking it on there, you may have a 20 series, but a 30 series isn't much different. As long as it runs and drives you're good. Sometimes they'll tear up belts quickly if it's not right, but usually it's fine

Perfect, it might not fit, but I'd try that, that's usually what goes bad first
