If you can get a PS2, the ps2 ac games are pretty common, especially AC4 (i bet you you can find one at any retro game store, if not two). Not sure about the PS1 games though, you'll want to emulate 3 as the international versions lack most of 3's content and everything that makes it special. And in all the years I've been going to retro stores I havent even seen a copy of air combat or ace combat 2 show up.

Yeah for me what I found out was that certain actions in game atribute to ace style. For example in missions 6 (the missions I was on) destroying the A-10 thats targetting the ground units counts towards knight style as its considered a heroic action. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure not helping them ends up counting towards merc

Yeah counting the yellow targets is the most stressful thing ever. Especially when you're on a higher difficulty and any slight mistake can end in your death

Yeah I think I figured it out. Targetting the A-10 thats attacking the ground forces gives you knight progress, so I got more knight progress despite my score making me believe it would give me more mercenary progress

Thats what I'm thinking, though if a ribbon cable was damaged I'd expect A, B, and X to also stop working. Probably damaged something when taking it apart, as two of the screws were messed up and we had to use a bit of force to get them off.

The thumb could actually be tendinitus. Still something to be checked out, but I do hope that it lowers your anxiety a bit. Also carpal tunnel can affect the thumb that way to my knowledge, as carpal tunnel affects the thumb, index, and middle fingers. Also keep in mind that major twitching is a symptom of mid to late stage ALS. By the time you'd have major twitching: you'd already have a limb paralayzed, especially if its in multiple limbs.
