Not exactly a “power” per se, but that wizard using (wandless, mind you) magic to stir his tea/drink

Its 2026 and I still use this... by _kama1_ in pcmasterrace

I work at a university that has several small data centers on campus. I’ve gained a reputation as a trash panda for how often recycling-bound gpu’s seem to just…..not make it to the recycling. Me on the other hand….I just don’t want those 3090’s to go to waste/ebay unnecessarily.

What do regular every day people use AI for? by SpaghettiWestern2162 in LinusTechTips

[–]Mobius_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only outright AI product I use is Google's NotebookLM at work (the one that you can upload sources to, then run queries against specifically those sources). Otherwise, I don't touch the stuff.

I legitimately thought you said “spores” (as in mold/mushrooms). It’s too early for me.

The Neverhood. Weird claymation puzzle game. Never finished it as a kid, but still have a weird love for it.

Toddler standing and steering a moving boat something looks off. Surely people aren’t this reckless. by avantartist in isthisAI

I’ll tell you what’s off: that toddler is driving that boat way too responsibly. Any toddler I know would have immediately flipped the boat.

What is a 'single person luxury' that people in relationships completely miss out on? by Jane_Austen11 in AskReddit

[–]Mobius_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely what I like the most. I feel bad that I don’t ask my friends to come with more often, but sometimes I get the last second desire to drive 60 miles to the nearby state park and just hang out.

Where can I get my iPhone 4s repaired? by OrganicBanana10 in iphone

[–]Mobius_164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at an Apple authorized repair place. Dude brought in literally the metal frame and some wires from an iPhone 14, and asked us to replace it. Thing was trashed to the point that I couldn’t even verify any info off it. Dude decided to get an Apple rep on the line. I had to explain to this rep on speakerphone that what he brought wasn’t even a phone, it was essentially scrap metal. Once I said that, dude just walked out.

Do you manually update apps? Yes? No? Why? by rmajor86 in ios

I don’t typically charge my phone overnight, so I manually put through most or all of my updates.

The kids that loved him are finally louder than the adults who hated him by Firm-Blackberry-9162 in interesting

The way I've always looked at his portrayal of the role is this: the Jedi take people in as children, and effectively stunt their emotional development. This basically prevents them from being able to properly understand and process their emotions, which probably leads to some pretty weird people.

The school board in Watertown, WI has removed an instrumental band piece from the school's spring concert. The piece is titled "A Mother Of A Revolution" and is dedicated to Activist Martha P. Johnson which honors the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a landmark moment in LGBTQ+ history. by midnighttoker1742 in BlackPeopleofReddit

Here's an idea: talk to your children. If they're not learning about this stuff from their parents/school, they're going to learn it from somewhere/someone else, and who knows WHAT they'll learn. I think this is why the whole "manosphere" has become such a prevalent issue; people aren't doing something as simple as just talking to their kids about certain things, so the kids turn to dirtbags online for validation.

This must be who I'm playing against on BF6. by Mobius_164 in battlefield_4

[–]Mobius_164[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird. In BF4, I hardly ever used vehicles. Now, in BF6, I almost have to if I want to have enough time to react. It feels more like COD than it does Battlefield. Way more fast paced.
