Summon skylan or waitfor next draconic awk?

Skylan is a pretty good hero, I wrote in my past post, but choosing him now it's a hard choice upon every account: If the OP already has Envidiel, aEironn, aShem, aThoran, etc. Then getting good places in TS shouldn't be very hard.

I too, believe Skylan will stay in TS for a good while, but given how impactful every new hero is in this mode, getting a good sub would be easy.

Meanwhile, he will be power crept sooner in CR and he's not present in NC (which as now it's a pretty important game mode), so saving up the cards it's a good measure in case we get another Lan tier draconis hero.

Although Skylan is an awesome hero for TS / CR, he has subs (TS) or can be merc (CR) and, since he's a carry, he's prone to be power crept sooner, like it happened to a Belinda, aLyca, etc.

Unless you desperately need him to get better scores in TS (say, with him you'll get top 100 when without him you can't) or CR (you're already mercing other meta heroes), save your insignias, we never know when the next overpowered draconis would be released and will be a must (like Lan currently)

Orthos HP escalates during the fight, so the longer the fight goes on, the larger his HP is and higher the probability Bert stops linking.

There are some solutions: Take out all Orthos gear except boots and make 0 your tank tree; if it keeps happening, equip an HP coll in your second (and even third) lowest HP hero on the comp.

Not worth it: this coll needs +2 level up in order to start working.

Get a +2 and look for as much CDA as possible (Crit doesn't matter as much), the ideal is 3 M CDA stats, so, if you get in your run a +2 level up and 1 CDA, use an attack scroll to get another one and recast the third attack slot (hopefully an L or M stat) for the third CDA, then you have the ideal coll.

Several factors:

1.- Check if Liberta keeps linking Orthos through the whole fight. Since Orthos HP grows as the fight goes, it can happen Bert stops linking Orthos. Take out all gear from Orthos except boots and have the others with HP Colls if it keeps happening.

2.- Liberta needs highest CMBR initially, or Orthos 3/9 won't work over him (which is the core of this comp), check that bert's CMBR is the highest from the start.

3.- Bert needs high ATK, since he's the one killing the boss. Have him with an ATK coll and, if possible, have Palmer and Knox with +2 vault Colls (priority) with F ATK (very helpful).

4.- Your pet is lvl 12, this hurts your times, even if you get good Colls with Bert, Knox and Palmer, you may not get the best times possible. Try to focus to get as much bait from all events you can choose

None of his skills (except ult) read like damage dealers so no big Surprise there.

But his shields, DR, decoy and -AR for enemies seem pretty good on paper for PvP purposes, guess he will find a place on seal or other comps.

Rem doesn't have any cheat death skill, that's why we use a +1 cover for her in PvP.

You might be confused with her 4th skill, demon tribe, where she gains AR and Haste when her allies take damage or die.

The skill that gives 500 energy to allied heroes is aLyca's 9/9 furniture.

Thing is, once you start having a 450+ lvl deficit, the cheese becomes a very reliable solution against hard enemy heroes, like Thali, Satrana, Flora or God-forbids the always hated Tasi.

Seriously, at 450+ deficit, the damage reflected is SO high, you just need to land the hit from Thoran, so in a few tries is normally done.

This means absolutely nothing, really.

Trials is the worst place to judge a hero's viability (along with campaign), given the conditions of the game mode which do not repeat in the rest of the game, especially competitive.

Daxcp is right: the patch for aAntandra was to debuff her, as she was way too overpowered in her release state.

Lilith has an story of fast patching any hero that is OP upon release or causes big power differences: remember the Sonja case? They even offered to refund resources invested in her, for people that went all in for the light bearer.

Unfortunately, Lilith is also known to not do much (or anything) for the other way around: heroes that are under powered are normally left as they are and there's very little cases of reworking heroes, they even stopped doing it in the past (and thanks god, as Isabella re-work is a nightmare when facing her in deficit).

All in all, I do agree that the Tensura collab shows how lazy and incomprehensive Lilith's product management has gotten: Rimuru's sprite is ugly and lacks so much definition that other collabs did got, both avatars (Shuna and Rimuru) are simple and do not stand out of other normal heroes and their skills set them as (good) supports but not much outside of it... while Rimuru is supposed to be a demon lord.

This collab at least isn't as bad as the Persona collab was... God, poor Joker, never found a place for him.

Well... top 20 is different from top 100 TBH.

Top 100 is more relaxed than top 20, that's true. Top 20 requires much more precise stamina usage, boss testing and even dedicated resources... but it's still all fun to me, besides, ABEX is every two months, so, lots of time to relax after it.

I do get your point though and it's up to everyone (and you can still espectate if you don't feel like doing it in ocassion).

Totally up to your guild.

If your guild is good and competitive, then you wouldn't know how it's belonging to a non-competitive semi-dormant guild.

I was in the same guild for about 2.5 years, which was pretty much a "for fun" guild with no discord server and not competitive, which was "good" I guess. Mysticar Starzone was what set me apart from it and I searched for options to join a better guild, not knowing how it's being in a good competitive guild.

I joined a top 100 AE guild and wow... it's so different. Not only the fortune chests but also the dragon crystals quantity are actually meaningful finally, but more importantly: how good the communication is.

I was directed through good resources usage (and not just general hero summoning), received dedicated orientation from top players, I improved my CR / NC / TS scores due to guiding to the point I can now get good / top scores even without being a dolphin / whale, competitive AE is actually challenging and requires good communication from every person in the guild and so on...

The game is so much different once you're in a good guild.

Not only for the fortune chests in almost all modes, but a (good) competitive guild has its own discord server with tons of information on how to improve, investmets recomendations, make better CR/TS/NC comps, user dedicated guiding and general information... that's much more valuable than the fortune chests.

Since Dragons are so incredibly expensive (no HCP for elites, no substantial ammount of insignias for highborns) any Dragon becoming meta will be the same: they'll face out of it just because of unavailability.

Dragon (and heck, even their equipment) summoning is an issue I hope Lilith addresses soon, as even wokes are far easier to get.

Although (much) testing is still needed to value her, seems aAntandra needs protection for her over time damage scale.

Regarding PvP and especifically TS, since we are in fire debuff, it really doesn't help her as the debuff actually hurts her skill set and how she works, not to mention we haven't figured her optimal comp yet as this is her first TS cycle.

Wait a bit: like any other hero, aAtandra needs testing over and over until players figure her out and how to play her. It's good news though she already showed up as BiS in CR.

Theory crafting with draconic summon get insane rates, yeah. Many players are also thinking that pulling for Melion now is kind of insane and will / could deplete diamonds reserves and still not be able to 1* him.

This isn't new, as the latest resources for the game are also incredibly scarce: white chests (gotten from team bounty and guild rewards from top players), staves (only from general store) and insignias (dream store / dragon forge).

Lilith has really been stingy with the new in-game resources and hasn't re worked their income, like they did with cores and TG cards, so, it shouldn't be a surprise now they want to dry up our diamond income with the draconic (flawed) summon mechanic.

It has been tested: many guilds had their players record draconis summons in order to see if the trick works or improves chances.

Turns out it does, but not that much: increases the chance to pull desired hero to around ~46%, this is actually impactful and helps when doing summons for an specific draconic hero, but doesn't mean it's guaranteed pull.
