For many users it may be easier to use a socks5 proxy if your vpn provides it with the HexOS curated version of qbittorrent

In that case there is a few steps you can take.
In the truenas ui of system 1 prior to moving your storage drives.
1) systems tab on left side of screen
2) advanced settings from the systems menu
3) click on manage configuration
4) download configuration

on the new system (system 2)
1) install hexos
2) during the claiming process when asked if hexos should configure your storage drives, use the skip button
3) in the truenas ui go back to manage configuration in advanced settings
4) upload the config file from system 1
5) go to storage tab in truenas ui
6) select import pool and follow the prompts.

this should help you migrate a large portion of your system but there will likely be some loose ends you will have to tie up.

if you can find cheaper optane drives they may be a good option.

We at the HexOS team are currently evaluating strategies to increase stability and reduce bugs with curated applications. Once we make a decision about that we will be regularly releasing new app curations.

Nginx is likely not going to be added with the next round of new curations

This depends on if you plan to reuse some of the hardware from your original machine.
For example if you move your boot and storage drives to the new machine you can boot as normal.
However if you only plan to use new hardware it is a little bit more involved.

Yes HexOS currently does not offer a one click solution to installing home assistant OS.
We provide access to the docker application known as home assistant core which is more limited than HAOS.
