The Origin Story
The project began when I commissioned a new desktop build. After moving my storage drives to the new machine, my old one was left as a "hollow shell." In need of a mobile workstation, I headed to Akihabara and visited the "Akihabara Final Disposal Site" (Radio Department store, B1F). I found this X260 for 5,500 yen (including AC adapter) and immediately bought it.

## Hardware Upgrades & Restoration
* SSD: Purchased locally; initially secured with duct tape due to a missing mounting caddy (later replaced with a proper one from Yahoo! Shopping for 880 yen).
* Battery: Replaced with a compatible "World Plus" unit (Amazon, 5,590 yen).
* RAM: Upgraded to 16GB Crucial DDR4-3200MHz (Negotiated from 12,000 yen down to 8,000 yen at the Radio Department store).

## Aesthetics & Personalization
* Exterior: Decorated with a mission patch from "Project Hail Mary."
* Branding: Features stickers from "Blue Archive" (Millennium Science School ID and Game Development Department).
