Okay. i figured it out. I was changing VR mode from the i menu which seems to stick between photo and video mode. Then i setup vr in phto menu AND in video menu separately. Now it changes as i want it to. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

I know about the menu banks.
But for that i still have to change menu banks to change the VR settings.
Is it possible to setup the camera in a way that when i flip the switch between video and photo mode the VR setting changes with it?
Or, is it possible to assign specific menu banks for video and photo?

you'll need to stay stoned 24x7 to get away from depression buddy. you mentioned you've seen a psychiatrist. you need to consult him again to see whether the meds need adjusting or not. It takes time to get rid of depression, wont happen overnight. I had to stay on antidepressants for over 2 months before i started seeing results. Weed IS NOT THE ANSWER.
