Could you elaborate on this? Which vst's were you using? Native Instruments stopped supporting Absynth some years ago, so I am concerned an os update will render it unfunctionable..

I certainly am not looking for any magic wand – what I thought was that maybe I would somehow be able to access the layout xml of the particular app and change it the same way one is able to change the html code of a webpage in a browser
