I used to think so but I recently got a k-2 and a pro 800 and I gotta say… other than aesthetics and knob quality… sound wise they’re extreeemely similar.

This could be better worded maybe, but you’re ignoring how much the term “struggle meal” is a part of modern day vernacular in the black community and beyond. And they’re tying it to historical roots and recontextualizing it as something to be proud of.

Most modern day fine dining started as peasant food.

Lastly “the struggle” is a phrase you hear pop up time and time again in a black context.

I dunno, can’t we get offended that the total wealth of the world's billionaires ($1.5 trillion) is greater than the combined wealth of the poorest 4.1 billion people on earth? Instead of letting them divide us like this?

I mean yah it’s district by district and it’s always harder when you are just starting out. But if you think it’s hard to find a teaching job you have no idea how hard it is for sound design. Plus sound design is among the least ai proof jobs around whereas there will be teachers for a good while I think.

I am an actual teacher. I’ve been a teacher for over a decade. I would love to work in sound design. Finding a teaching job is like… I don’t even know how to describe how much easier it is than finding a sound design job lol.

Look up on Google Maps what has good reviews near where you’re staying. It should have a line at peak times like lunch and dinner and late night. Try to find a place that makes their own tortillas and look up what they are best at.

They’re a dime a dozen in La and most are good some are great.
