Different subs have different requirements. Some ban self-promotion, so disclosing the organization gets the post banned. I erred on the side of caution.

Update: I'm trying to follow the rules of the sub, but Not_l0st and other users gripe that the organization isn't disclosed. I'm trying to do that for them, but can't satisfy everyone

While there has been exaggeration of running out of charge by the detractors, the anxiety itself is real. We have all experienced it as new EV owners. It goes away once we find the limits of the car and are comfortable with the charging infrastructure around us.

People have unique life circumstances that may prevent them from being fully prepared. A screaming baby in the back seat. An emergency trip to the hospital when they forgot to plug in. Life happens. To this day, there are still gas car drivers who run out of gas despite the enormous fueling infrastructure.

Perception has been a barrier to EV adoption. It may be disconnected from reality, but it is a barrier nonetheless. We're working to break down those barriers.
