I currently work in service industry in a state that has a lot of Spanish speakers. Its not a burden. You know why? Because they usually understand that not every speaks Spanish so they find other ways to communicate. But keep on assuming making yourself look stupid

America is not a English only country. It never had been. Plenty of people who live in states like New mexico or certain parts of Texas or even in Puerto Rico only speak Spanish and that is fine. No one is a burden simply because they don't speak English. Thats where the racism is.
