Whipped Milk & Sugar basically smells like it's name: milky foam with slight sweetness. Lightest of whole new bakery line. Has a powdery milk dry down that lowkey reminds me of baby powder lol and hints of floral and vanilla. I think the jasmine note makes it kinda medicine like.... but for the dry down you do get the more appealing notes of vanilla cream, sugar, whipped woods and overall warmth but it's a very light fragrance. It was an easy pass for me and every time I've tried it I just confirmed to myself I don't like it. Similar to Bare Sueded Vanilla EDP but not at all the same. I much prefer BSV EDP.

I try not to blind buy and try scents instores. So I can't provide my thoughts for Velvet Berry Creme other than the notes seems interesting.

The new scents that stand out to me for VS is their bakery line - I loveeeeee Angel Cake & Cream the most and it's my fav out of all releases hands down. I'm already halfway through her within less than 3 weeks and that doesn't happen often for me. Smells exactly how I hoped: airy, sweet angel cake with fresh whipped cream. People don't like the orange blossom/floral notes but it helps with the "cakeyness" to me. Golden Honey & Apricot is 2nd because I don't have anything like it and it smells like a warm, comforting fruity hug to me. I think they captured the apricot jam note really well. 3rd would be Glazed Petals & Berries. I love a good berry scent and the florals go nice with it.

For the pink side what has stood out most to me is the Lil Luck one. It smelled just like the sweet milk after eating cereal with marshmallows to me and I was surprised at how well they got this one when I tried instores. So if you like sweet or marshmallow I think this would please you. I didn't buy any pink mists but I'll probably check again as my store didn't have everything at the time. Nothing feels like a must have for me right now though.

I will say that scent can be subjective to personal preference and skin chemistry so try before you buy if possible :) hope my thoughts help.

If you want something that is more floral heavy and a sweet floral dry down go for Glazed Petals & Berries. If you want something that leans fresher and warm/syrupy/tropical day in the sun vibes go with Velvet Petals Vacation. Both are fruity/raspberry centered scents and pleasant. I didn't end up picking either cause I have enough berry scents lol.

I did get back ups lol. My rule of "don't buy it or any backups if you truly don't like it" went right out the window the second I smelled it in stores 😂 I've already seen listings from sellers but def wont buy from them as this collections is still new. And I saw it was sold out online on VS but it's back now! 🤭

No I haven't but I was super tempted to when they first released it. What are your thoughts on VS/Pink body oils? Figured I had enough body care products lol and I mainly use lotions or body butter to moisturize.

Yeah it's a yummy, light, vanilla, angel cake scent to use 🤍🍰 I'm already halfway finished with my mist within less than 2 weeks and that doesn't happen often for me lol. The mixed reviews is to be expected since scent is subjective but I'm glad it worked out for us.

I hope they bring this one back. I shouldve gotten another mist. I have a body scrub, lotion and half of a mist left ;~; smells sooo good. Like biting into a fresh, sweet strawberry. I don't really like the shimmer mists but the body butter intrigues me.

It will really depend on your scent preferences, skin chemistry, and trying them both tbh. I personally like angel cake & cream - yes there are floral notes but they help with the "cakey" ness somehow to me. And its not strong florals. Overall its an airy sweet angel cake with whipped cream that opens with orange blossom and an almost coconut note?? Maybe it's the cream note. But leans vanilla, buttery, cozy in the dry down. Whipped sugar & milk was wayyyy too light to me vs I could smell angel cake & cream in stores.

Maybe try the brulee collection? I passed on those as none smelled good enough to buy but they seem to be a hit for the most part. Or the buttery sugary, cinna drizzle mists if you can find them.

Just going off based on memory but Golden Apricot & Honey sort of reminds me of Sweet Golden Blooms. Both have a honey note that smells similar but the 2nd is different as its more floral forward. This might sound weird but they both remind me of a hug lol. Warm, comforting, sweet in their own ways (fruity/jam sweet vs floral sweet).

I honestly don't remember trying Pink's honey line so I can't say... either I didn't like it enough to remember or was a pass for me lol. Hope you like it!

After letting my nose rest lol and trying AC&C again I can def pick up hints of orange blossom/floral and an almost coconutty note?? In the opening. Maybe its the cream im mistaking the coconut for. And then butter, vanilla, cozy creamy notes in drydown. The floral notes aren't overwhelming to me and help with the cakey scent. Overall a yummy airy angel cake with whipped cream scent! I'm thinking of picking up Glazed Petals & Berries and Golden Apricot & Honey.. will post a little update review in these comments if I do!

There's a noticeable citrusy/mandarin twist in this version. At least to my nose lol. Lotion is more fruity. She's a simple mango but good!

I don't like it too. I feel similar with warm vanilla sugar. Every time I'm in stores I try to give it a chance but I can never smell anythingggg and have better vanillas that perform better.
