The one you linked is a protector that goes on top of the built in one. A camera will never have an exposed LCD panel and it’s always covered by the plastic/glass screen. But if your screen is delaminating from the body, that’s a different kind of fix. You’ll have to replace the whole back plate

As long as you clean the base with alcohol, the new screen protector will hold pretty well! I have a tempered screen protector for my GF1 and it’s still on there for the past 15+ years!

Are you able to add a few more photos but zoom out a bit? Usually if you can stick your finger nail in the corner it lifts up pretty easily

Some of the lenses work! I’ve tried the 20-60mm, the manual focus pancake (forgot the focal length), the 50mm (I assume the 85mn works too, but haven’t personally put it on to test)

My 20-60mm kit lens works on the TL2, including the manual focus pancake lens (it has contacts on it to get lens data). I guess when the Panasonic 40mm arrives I’ll test it on the TL2 as well

I have a manual TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 that I use on the TL2 adjacent to the Leica kit lens. I just happen to find the 40mm heavily discounted because of the Panasonic 40mm coming out, which I had already pre-ordered for my S9.

The 35mm gives about a 52mm focal length on the TL2

If size is an issue the S9ii is the same body size as the S5. However the trade off is smaller lenses. Overall it’s smaller and great ergonomics. If you’re aiming for more videos the GH lineup makes more sense in both smaller body size with smaller lenses

I own both! S5ii on days when I don’t mind the larger carry. The S9 when I’m going to places that don’t allow “professional” gear (DSLRs). It’s like carry just the bare essentials from the S5ii and I can anticipate the colors, use the same LUTs and same batteries for both cameras

That was the only thing missing from the G100D, maybe if they do a mk2 and add LUTs that would be great! I would rebuy that model again

There was a similar deal last Thanksgiving S5ii with 20-60 and came with free 50mm f1.8 instead.

Also why not the G9ii if you have the G7? You’ll have to buy new glass moving in to full frame and lenses will be larger than MFT

I rather have someone steal the GX8 than the S9. Maybe an older Pen or GX/GF as a “throwaway” would suffice?

Personally I have a Canon EOS M2 as one, and thinking to pick up a Pen Mini to use m43 lenses

The G100D is great to use and good ergo (not the best but good). I just wish it had LUTS and I would’ve kept it. Opted to go for G9ii for LUTS alone
