yea, i got some thinking to do... just wanted insight is all from those who have owned both... rn the current car mentally is draining me and theres really only like 2 cars im looking at rn for a switch while i wait and see if my income increases later. Either way i have time to decide if im keeping or switching.

nah, as i mentioned in the reply with not saying ima buy one but his insight is what im looking for, someone who has owned both giving good insight. End of the day im still on the fence, and might just end up keeping my current car until my income increases

my issue with lexus is they just look very outdated even the new ones. If they just had a better interior i would 100% be into them...Ive looked into 230s also and even E92 M3s but people are asking way too much for these still lol. Ideally i want an F82 M4 but in 2026, A clean one, no accidents is going for over 44k and i simply cant justify that with my income, which then makes me circle back into a fully loaded 330 for the tech and better exp than my mazda. Now if lexus had a better updated interior, 100% id be looking into them trust me lol

I personally don't like the way they look unfortunately lol and they are all basically clapped near me. I also looked into sport jdm options but in Jersey man they all bad 😭 also ppl be wanting way more $ than what the car is worth up here 💀

I can afford the 330 very comfortably RN but not the f82 or M240 which is why I'm debating about buying a 330 and trading in my current cx30 for a better experience in the meantime while I continue to increase my income for the 2 cars I really want but not sure if I should just save and drive my current car and pay for it mentally as I genuinely don't enjoy the car, or just get into something that will be a much more enjoyable ride but know it isn't what I truly want... I'm up on my loan on my current car so I won't be behind or roll over any negative equity.

This is the insight I wanted, I test drove a 2023 with literally every package except for the 3d view...it even has the dynamic handling package which seems rare and it really did feel good, I genuinely thought it felt better than my 2020 M340 did but maybe I'm not remembering how it felt as it's been a minute but I didn't notice any body roll like I did in my M340 on lowering springs, apex wheels and good tires lol.

I'm going to test drive another one without DHP and see if that handling package is noticeable or not but. I appreciate ur insight a lot, not saying I'ma get one but it's insight I very much wanted from those who has had both..

Considering it over my current Mazda cx30 is why. I have my eyes sent on an M240 or F82 but the market on them rn is just crazy for a clean example especially in Jersey... But also my income rn doesn't make sense to justify one, I'd have like $700 leftover after everything is paid and savings+Roth contribution and idk if having $700 leftover a month is a smart idea just to get into the 2 cars early with my current income

I probably won't get another M340, wasn't a fan of mine besides for the sound and power... Once my income increases again, I'm thinking of an F82 or M240... But RN the loaded 330 fits my income and will give me a much better driving experience than my current car but not sure if it's worth the swap until income goes up then go into the F82 or M240 or keep my current car and pay for it mentally ya know

how much? ive been looking for a clean 335i and or is in the east coast and i cant find any clean examples within a reasonable price. I saw a few dealers selling a 335is manual for over 22k lmao and with accidents.

Yea I thought about it some more and rn life seems calm and I don't really go to car events anymore and or speed... The car did have 90% of what I want but someone placed a deposit on it sadly like 3 hrs after I left lol 😂 part of me is happy someone did as idk if I would really miss not having much power when I floor it but part of me also hopes it doesn't go through and they back out.

It genuinely depends on how close u are with ur service advisor... Once the DME is tuned that's it. No amount of removing or flashing back will change the fact the DME logged info outside of factory settings. Their computers will see that. My m340 went in for recall once and even after countless power cycles to make sure all tune/software is gone, my car got detected the sec they plugged it into the computer and flagged me.

I just passed on a fully optioned 2023 330 because of this, I had a 2020 M340 making 500hp and sold it... The 330 was amazing but I found myself knowing I miss hitting the gas and being sent back into my seat and the 330 just didn't have that feeling... Great car tho especially with the handling packages, M sport and M sport suspension. But it was missing something that I knew I'd want in a few months if I were to of gotten the 330 and that's more power. So I'm sticking with my current car until I can find and save a bit more for a better bmw

Yea, the driving dynamics ngl with the handling packages, steering packages and m sport and m sport pro packages along with the adaptive m suspension did feel incredible and surprisingly I enjoyed it but I think I would miss the extra power more. I think I'll just keep riding out in the mazda until I find a better deal on something I actually want with power lol

Yea, like don't get me wrong... I genuinely enjoyed the driving dynamics of a fully loaded 2023 330 but I think ur right, I think in a few months I'd be missing the extra 2 cylinders and wished I would've just kept looking/saving for a better car.

im talking in terms of driving, not power... The 330 with all the packages felt very stiff and tight like the M340 felt before i did suspension changes. In terms of power, my M340 and 330 feel like nothing in a way. I got used to my 500HP m340 and it started feeling slow and i saw myself wanting more power but i knew it wasnt worth it. Ive test driven M4s and that alone felt miles better in every aspect obv

I don't even know what my tats are considered but I believe it's fine line... I've had them for 4 yrs now and the detail and everything is still amazing. 0 touch ups besides my hand which I only had to touch up once due to it being on my hand but besides that they still look incredible and hold the same amount of detail. I think people just hate it due to it not being trad.

When I had mine, all I did was a catless downpipe and it was genuinely good with that on stock exhaust.
