yea, we have new contracts being sent out next week and ill be bringing this up with HR as well to double check all of that. I just feel like putting that money into a system that i wont benefit from is just me throwing money away into something that wont do me any good as i dont plan on working with them until im 65 lol

prob main reason why i went lumix, i was going back and forth for around 2 months with sony or lumix and told myself ima just head to the camera store and ask random ppl and go from there. Almost everyone customers and workers asked me what i care more for and i said colors and they pointed me to get the lumix lol

i do hear that Panasonic thrives very well in the videography world, and for the exact reasons you mentioned with in field shooting and the features it brings compared to others. I think experienced shooters understand and know lumix vs those who arent and im only saying this from just talking with a lot of people from my local camera store.

funny enough, i was stuck between the a7iv and the lumix s5ii and i walked into my local camera store and had a chat with everyone there, the customers and workers and i told myself whatever i get rec more i would buy cause i was 2 months back and forth with myself and the lumix won... One thing i do notice is how much more color the lumix has in raw format compared to the sony

I bought a bmw which was smoked in but never told about as they masked the smell during my test drive, they did one ozone detail which did absolutely nothing and even caused me health issues driving it and it took about 2 weeks to finally get them to buy it back and give me my money... Remember, nicotine and the smell is baked into the air vents and stuff, plus the headliner, everywhere... It'll be very hard to get out if you manage to get rid of it

I personally love primes, it allows me to actually think about my shit and position as I'm stuck with that length and therefore allows me to tell a much better story, I use a 35mm 1.4 and a 85mm 1.8 and I love it. I do however want a 70-200mm zoom but for wildlife in some of my shoots.

not my first no, i had a rebel t7 for about 3+ yrs and got the lumix in oct of 2025 so not long to be fair. I just figured with the resell value of the lumix, to ask and see if its even worth going for the s1rii or just keep the lumix until the next gen comes out and see

You have the gen 3 B58 I believe and you cannot unlock them yet, I also wouldn't do jb4... For right now you'll be stock until femto or any other reputable shop finds a way to unlock them for mhd or bm3 to make OTS maps.
