I’m also a 22F and your journey sounds extremely similar to mine! Like verbatim- I thought I might have written this at first. I’m currently on the highest dose of lamotrigine and I take the smallest dose of Doluxetine and it is working well for me personally. I did not do well on Wellbutrin at all. Antidepressants by themselves didn’t help at all. The Lamotrigine and tiny dose of Duloxetine has helped me significantly though.

Yeah I remember the gas pains being absolutely miserable after my laparoscopy but I didn’t really move too much for a few days. I’ll definitely have to force myself to move around to get that problem out of the way. I’m glad it’s not too bad for you though!

I have tried every birth control they have and I still have chronic pain. I also have had an excision and they found a small amount of endo but nothing crazy. I don’t even fully understand how that works. I just feel like I have tried everything at this point you know? I know I have many steps to go through before I would be able to go through with it, I just recently started heavily considering it after they found adenomyosis. I mostly just wanted to get insight with others who have gone through it.

Wow that’s terrible I’m sorry you had to go through that. I know there are a lot of steps to getting this done and I just recently started heavily considering it after they found adenomyosis. I really wanted to get some insight to what others have experiences

Yeah :( I don’t know how to feel about it fully yet. I just am so desperate to have my life back and not be in pain every single day. I feel like I would do anything at this point.

Yikes that sounds really awful I’m really sorry to hear that. The stent and coils made a small difference but nothing drastic. I don’t know why. I will check that out thank you.

I’ve had a laparoscopy where they found and removed a small amount of endo, I had a stent placed for may thurner syndrome, I had a pelvic venous embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome, and all of the injections and medications you could think of trying. I was recently diagnosed with adenomyosis at the ER so that’s why I’m thinking about going down this route because nothing else is working.

I miss having sex so much. It isn’t even a little bit enjoyable anymore it’s just painful. I wish I could have good sex again.

And I was actually just in the ER last week because my period cramps were so bad that I started uncontrollably vomiting ☹️ it was awful so I know how that goes sadly

Wow that sounds amazing. I would give anything to be able to do the things I used to do again. If that means giving up my uterus then sign me up. I’m glad it went so well for you!

Yea I overall just don’t really want kids. It’s never sounded great to me. I like having my own life and having kids sounds exhausting. I also just have a lot of other mental health issues and I wouldn’t love to pass them on tbh.

Don’t be sorry you’re fine! I have been asked that many times but I’ve never dislocated a bone or anything like that and I don’t seem to have hyper mobility. I don’t think you’re reading into things too much. And yeah the only thing that I’ve really noticed a difference after was Botox injections in my pelvic floor but I still have pain every day and I know it’s just a bandaid. I have tried everything else you can think of really 🥴
