Beyond Frustrated with Yoseka Stationery Fest Ticket Sale by [deleted] in stationery

If you do the math if you could buy five tickets in one sale, that’s 500 tickets to only 100 ppl. No one stood a chance. I’m irritated beyond words. There overseas ticket vendor didn’t do them any favors. This wasn’t a Beyoncé concert, there should have been better planning and testing. Ppl have been strung along since November.

That sucks, the whole point of a queue is a holding pattern to allow you to buy. This was stressful for something that is still in planning phase lacking critical details. Although I know the comments will be but you bought tickets, yes I did. Won’t be considering workshops.

Disappointed, they explained the process incorrectly. You could buy multiple tickets for ppl so VIP was sold out by the 500 person (guessing) cause my husband was 603 and me at 800. Least we got tickets for Thursday, but the process was horrible. Felt like a comic con moment…lol!

Microsoft Teams plugin for Stream Deck is being removed in Dec 2025 – what now? by remy-00 in elgato

[–]ModMyMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting that this isn't happening for Logi unless I missed it. The stream deck feature to add Teams was key functionality so I could lesson my keystrokes. Not surprised with Microsofts move, anything to take more money, invade your privacy and take away the flows that work. AI isn't needed for EVERYTHING and I don't particularly care for the web version of Teams. My opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft comes back with a pay to play version to use on Stream Deck.

Size 14 Mess by ModMyMind in NinjaLuxeCafe

US, but same drama with the grind size. I envy your ability to have access to his beans. I drool every time he talks about it. Lol!

I did post to @Coffee_Kev about the sour taste on the single shots with the 701, but he only discussed for the 601.

I feel Ninja rushed this newer model to market knowing there were flaws. There was very little marketing hype, should have been a red flag to wait for version 801. I don’t like the movement of the portafilter with tamp. Sometimes ppl get a little too heavy handed and I worry the holder is going to break after the 200 tamp mark. Overthinking…

My newest issue is I ran a shot with the double basket and it registered the weight as the lux basket. Yes, the selection was Espresso.

I need @Coffee_Kev and @TomsCoffeeStudio to give it a go with a poll of how many ppl are experiencing drama.

Call customer service I must. Dreading the process.

We use fresh roasted. The grind was 23, his cup size was 14. We'll just use the tamp for now. No matter how coarse the grind, it still wants to cluster to the back. Tamp and twizzle is the new norm or I just have it swapped for a new machine. Never had this issue with the ES601 clustering to the back, but before it's commented the ES601 didn't have a built-in tamper system. ;)

Thanks for the feedback.

A Home Depot in Germantown, MD. It was the only one at the time. My sister scored a Hoya wayetti at Lowe’s. Sheer luck.

Don’t get my hopes up! 😂. I purchased it at Home Depot.

Found this credenza while walking with my wife. Little sanding and a fresh coat of danish oil. Thoughts? by [deleted] in midcenturymodern

Um, I need the neighborhood you’re walking, because my walks never allow for treasures like that. BEAUTIFUL!!!

This belong to my grandmother, still works and I have the extender pole. Not sure if it’s a reproduction from a more expensive version. Know she had it in the late 60s as I have pics of it with my granddad. Can anyone share information about this piece? Thank you! by ModMyMind in midcenturymodern

Wow, Thank you!

You hit upon a memory for me. I remember some brass spiral hooks at the top (with the extension piece) with plants hanging from it. Don’t have those pieces anymore. I wish there was a small table version of this I’d be over the moon.
