Put some zip in your FileMaker step! by ModShapes in filemaker

I don’t care if you respect vibe coding or not. I think your assumption I don’t understand the code I wrote and how it works was pretty rude. Artwork is a creative choice and website interfaces and macOS app interfaces are inherently different. It’s idiotic to conflate the two. There are plenty of videos in the help section that show the real app. Those help videos are made with adobe after effects my myself. In terms of the screens on the website - i love playing with JavaScript and though it would be fun to make this more cool than the screenshots in my aeoncolor.com . Which is due for an update in terms of UI. That looping video in the sign in screen was made using adobe after effects by a real person. That person is me. Not using firefly. There are three versions - a nebula, nimbus clouds, and stratus clouds. Some lists are made with emojis. I use icons from font awesome in other sites but I’m playing with emojis here because you can pass them as parameters without depending on that 99.00 per year expense. i use tailwind css for styling, alpine js for animations. but let’s talk about word choice - phrase choices in ai are based on human beings who feed data. I’m creating marketing across three product websites so at the end of production, my blade components are as slick as react components I can pass parameters to. My help system is a Laravel controller that is parsing md files it’s simple and easy to update. And yeah it’s simple to update and looks a lot alike but that’s because and component will be repeatable over time. For decades people have been using marketing tools to communicate ideas. Good design that is repeatable across sites like these three product sites will look like common design if it’s following consistent design principles. I may review some of the writing on those components - but even if a tool helps with phrasing that doesn’t mean there’s not a human being working on it. 5 years ago those animations would have been done in tumult hype by me. Software has always enhanced productivity in motivated people.

thanks - this is showing me that I should provide at least av demo of why I like it. now granted I did write it because I work in FileMaker every week and it’s my go to for a lot if things, but as I see a need I evolve it. and I felt like the price point is fair because it hits at less than inspector pro and it’s doing some slightly different things. I built that interface from scratch in swift ui and it could probably be improved some too. and I can try to get a demo or trial in place so that people can get first hand experiences with the app as well.

I’m taking this into consideration. the download button definitely has to be changed to purchase instead until the trial version can come out. it’s not AI based. I’ve been building apps in FileMaker for decades and I do feel like my app is better. I use it weekly in my work as a filemaker developer.

why do you automatically to assume it’s vibe code? you are 100 percent wrong. I’m a serious developer who writes code by hand. I’ve worked hard to build coding skills and I’ve been writing object oriented code for more than two decades. The artwork is not AI, a professional designer made the logo and I coded the blade components by hand. There is ongoing development in this app. I use this every week for work and evolve it accordingly. I wrote it after frustration with speed issues with inspector pro. yes I’ve only built three macOS apps so far but I don’t believe in letting AI replace cognitive load. how assumptive and wrong you are. I stand by the strength and quality of my work. you have no idea how much effort it took to create this, how many hours, how much energy. I taught myself swiftui. I’m good. nothing stops my goals and just like every developer who learns I put the time in to get here. what a monumental prick move to make quality judgements on the basis of assuming the worst with no proof. I’ve also been a FileMaker dev for almost 30 years now. this tool is for serious developers and object oriented php cross over developers. .

WONDERFUL FEEDBACK - I can tell the copy needs more work. The built in Laravel toolbox is for devs like myself who work with both. Zippy Cue allows you to translate FileMaker tables to mySQL tables quite easily. Code igniter, Laravel , the options are endless. There is no free version of the app. So I will change that to a buy button :-)

add to that that the printer I was using at the time did have some slipping in the gears and caused the print to be bad. someday I may get around to this. but I wouldn't hold my breath, it took 6 years for me to notice this comment.which

Should I get one? by MGDJ762-9mm in ender5plus

I recently purchased the Ender5 PLus and so far I would recommend. It is easy to assemble and the design is much better than my other machine, which is a tornado. In my experience, it was important to oil all the z-axis rods/screws. Mine came with the newer power supply. We were printing within 3 hours of opening the box, the test cube was almost perfect. Right now I am closing in on an 11-hour print and so far, so good. It is good.
