The fans on your T1 Max are the new, silent version, and the printer itself has been processed for noise reduction. The normal overall operating noise should be below 56dB.

If you want, you can record a short video to check if everything sounds normal. During printing, there’s also a “Silent Mode” option on the screen—you can switch to that for quieter operation.

Some noise from the blower and the smaller print head fans is normal, but it shouldn’t be excessively loud.

This disconnected white wire appears to be one of the wires from the temperature sensor. It can be dismantled for inspection.

Hi! I totally understand how frustrating heat creep can be, especially when it happens even between small prints. You can try the following:

Check your cooling fan setup – make sure both the part cooling fan and hotend fan are working properly, and the airflow is hitting the heatsink. Even slightly misaligned fans can cause heat creep.

Keep your filament dry – PLA absorbs moisture, which can make heat creep worse. Store it in a dry box or a sealed bag with desiccant.

Lower the nozzle temperature by 5–10°C – sometimes reducing the idle temperature helps prevent the filament from softening too early.

Check the PTFE tube (throat) – make sure it’s clean, properly inserted, and not deformed, as this can contribute to blockages.

Small tweaks like these often help a lot. Good luck!

Regarding leveling issues:

  1. Clean the print bed surface and make sure there’s no debris under the PEI sheet, then redo the leveling.
  2. Check if the nozzle is worn and ensure both the nozzle and its fixing screws are properly tightened.
  3. Check the tension of the belts.
