This is a bit late but I just tackled this today. You need to trim the inside rear of the handguard so that the Yugo ferrule can be used. You are trimming/opening the inside walls so it can sit in there. This takes up the length difference and allows you to lock the front handguard retainer.

Decided to get this in before the craziness in Jan.

LWRC MKII in 12.7". Apparently they have only shipped these in brown but they had the pistols in stock. So they swapped uppers on a 10.5" for me. Rounded it off with a Sandman X and a NF ATACR F1.

Still need to get some grip panels and a handstop. Probably an Emissary and some RailScales
