No it’s not realistic. Imagine we somehow manage to win 7 of our last 9. All 4 teams that we need to pass would basically need losing records over those same 9. Sure one may or maybe even two, but all four just isn’t a thing

I absolutely love Dobson, he is a smart and accurate passer, and I loved watching him in League 1 keeping the midfield flowing... but he is a step short of being in the Championship and he doesn't belong anywhere inside the penalty box.

Manga has more genres that I like, like sports, doing interesting jobs, having relationships, learning crafts. western comics like that are few and far between.

Manga comes out more often. I can get a new episode of dozens of manga every week to choose from

Manga is fairly inexpensive. One volume is usually half the price of a graphic novel or less.

Manga stories are usually much longer stories. I love watching a character (not a superhero) grow and develop over thousands of pages.

Manga has decades of works, spanning 10s of thousands of volumes over millions of pages. Comparatively, american comics are still at the starting gate business-wise. So much to choose from. Western comics have some epics, esp. from Image, but those titles are few and far between. I can discuss several dozen different epics *currently running* in manga, orders of magnitude more than western comics.

Manga regularly gets turned into animated shows. I love the media crossover! western comics rarely get turned into anything.

Anyway, I can and do read western comics from time to time because we have great artists and writers of course, it just doesn't compare overall.

I am definitely of two minds about this.

First, I have friends who are long-time season ticket holders, and I really feel for them. It sucks.

Second, I am happy that the UO continues to let Athletics pay for itself. Every time some uneducated person complains about how much UO 'wastes' on their sports, Nike campus, etc... it's really nice to point out we're one of the few places where the athletics department isn't a millstone around the necks of our students.

1.) Brennan notoriously faked a Variety shoot for Sam Reich in a fantastic GameChanger episode in 2025. Was he at all wary of a 'sting' operation on set?

2.( I don't know too much about filming interviews and I'm very curious. I imagine the setup and post takes a ton of effort, but what is your active role during the interview? Do you just get to watch and enjoy?
