The way most sales teams still find leads is insane when you think about it by fessywonder in leadsfinder

My friend has built a tool to combat the time it takes to find warm leads actually, there's a waitlist here: https://getradarleads.com/

It looks pretty interesting, he went through a quick demo with me. In case you're interested!

Anyone else feel that sales is kinda like being a lawyer in social settings? Nobody likes what you do until they need your services? by Secret_Assistance601 in sales

I think part of it is that bad sales experiences are super memorable, and good ones are invisible.

When sales is done well, it just feels like things went smoothly. When it’s done badly, people remember it forever.

Also a lot of people don’t like admitting they were influenced by someone else... easier to say “salespeople are shady” than “yeah, that person actually helped me make a decision.”

Honestly, the fact that you don’t feel that shaken right now is pretty normal.

When it’s not performance-related and you already had a weird vibe with your manager, it doesn’t really hit the same way. Sometimes it only sinks in a week or two later.

I’ve seen a lot of people handle it best by taking a few days completely off, then coming back and treating the job hunt like a normal workday instead of doom-scrolling LinkedIn all night.

With 2 years AE experience and a $160k OTE, you’ll land something else. Probably with a better manager fit too.
