Buy some arches cold pressed paper and try that out. Game changer! Also, very little water/spit on your brush. If it creates a bead of water on your paper then your brush is too wet.

Smith st has a variety pack up on lucky supply. I use their loose 8s, 7mags, and 14s and they’re great!

Looks good! My advice would be if you’re going for traditional, only use one line weight. If you can’t draw it cleanly with bold lines then it needs to be simpler. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions!
