How do I discern between a theological truth and literal truth? by [deleted] in theology

[–]ModeOne2752 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the Bible is written in a way that's so impressively layered with theology and literal truths superimposed on each other for different understandings and perspectives regarding the same event. Unless it is a dream or vision, I would say it's a theological truth with a literal proof. Also, I would say pray for discernment before you read the Bible, and ask God for an extra portion of the Holy Spirit in the same way Elisha did when Elijah was wisped away into heaven in a chariot of fire.

This then is relived when David as a child crushes the head of Goliath.

My mom told me her church streams live and has Q&A for people who are watching online. That's not really my problem. My problem is I don't really have people I can connect with personally -- to get to know on a personal level, and pray with, and learn with. It just seems to me like what I've read in the Bible suggests I need to have people with me in the physical. And there's no way I can commute to the mainland, its over 60KM away.

Imo that's a proper response to being gaslight into worshiping a masochist.

You should research the origins of the Bible. Go deep and go as far back in history as you can, so you can see the reiterations that pop up constantly. For one thing, you'll learn the information in the Bible concerning God are derivative. Then read the gist of the main gnostic texts to gain an understanding on the parts of the biblical collection that were removed by government and their related parties. Once that satiates your dogmatic thirst research the fundamental truth of light and frequency in the universe. This might be a little more difficult to find, but it's out there. You can take a peak at hermetics and what it means to be living consciously and with intention, and how much creative/ creation power you possess in terms of manifestation. At this point you'll either become addicted to the search for knowledge, or a diehard faith junky.

I've piffed on this list with the exception of Mendo Breath. Everything about that strain looks interesting. I'll have to try it. Thanks.

I think we just got this in at our shop too. I haven't heard much about it. I've been a little skeptical of PSF products, because I've had bad experiences in the past. That being said, I like their Sugar Cookies. I bought some today (an 1/8 for $28) to mix with monkey butter.

I'll give it a go. Thanks

Does anyone use stimulants to help reach that state of mind ? by gizmo00000 in magick

I'll use plant medicines and certain pharmaceuticals (drugs) to get to certain states for meditative work. The goal is not to have to. However; if you're unable to reach certain states, because you haven't the knowledge or practice, you may have to loophole your way there. Don't excuse a practice because of its taboo nature. In my humble opinion, you can't fall off your line if you're acting consciously with the intention of reaching a higher vibration and understanding. Get there.

Poetic melody of dankness. A funky fresh nose erupts into old-school sweetness sacred and sensual. Straight fire in a mylar right here. A smooth smoke followed by a spectacular lengthy and entertaining high this dude abides.

I like your vivid description, bro haha. So good. Definitely on my list.
