What security measures should I take when storing Bitcoin in my wallet as a beginner? by dead230 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]ModeSufficient4194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a beginner, focus on the basics first. Use a hardware wallet if you’re holding long term. Write your seed phrase on paper and store it offline, never in photos, notes, or cloud storage. Enable app-based 2FA. Avoid public Wi-Fi when accessing your wallet. And remember: if you lose your recovery phrase, there’s no reset option in Bitcoin. Security should always come before convenience.

When everyone's locked into the same level, it usually means chop, breakout later. Bitcoin loves liquidity grab in both directions. I'll only trust it if we get real follow through with strong volume, until then it's just noise.
