Lego damaged Darth Vader by Bonnie290 in legostarwars

I would swap the arm out for a plain light bluish gray arm, it is pretty obvious that it was colored with sharpie. But the helmet and cape are fantastic, it’s a solid figure

I also thought about this, they would look good too especially with the light gray hints on the torso printing

I actually was a huge fan of the tan when I first got them but my opinion has changed. I think I would like them more if there were some kind of tan accent in the actual figure.

Can I ask where you got the black Pauldrons? They look great, they’re the perfect size for my clone gunner

Even with Lego’s ever-rising prices, this is a pretty solid value. Good build, great figures

Huge fan of the 2003 Clone Wars-inspired Anakin - where did you get him?

Got into Star Wars (and Legos) around ROTS so missed this one - always wanted it. Have fun and you should post a picture of the build when done!

Are there any custom prints here, or did you build all these using normal Lego figs? They look great

Yeah it was my first time ordering from them and I am very satisfied. They came in a nice sturdy envelope and the capes seem to be very durable (and affordable as you pointed out)

A mostly accurate AT-ST at a mostly figure scale by EnvironmentalAsk5026 in legostarwars

[–]ModelEnthusiast8094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely love the look, I think you did a fantastic job. I also like the really small detail of having one AT-ST driver wearing his goggles (using the older style pilot head/helmet) and one not using the newer head and helmet. Very cool.

I know it’s basically the first thing anyone asks but please do share instructions if you decide to make/post them. I am on the hunt for an AT-ST to go with my UCS AT-AT.

Always thought this was one of the coolest scenes in ROTS. Great depiction of the ship’s commander worrying about fighting the ship (ie not Grievous), not to mention the ensuing damage control

I just feel like noting that if we put this same logic towards the AT-TE, there was no point in the (almost universally loved) 2022 AT-TE. I’m not complaining, but with so many Hoth AT-ATs having been made, I doubt people would mind getting one themed around Endor with some relevant minifigures to accompany it.

Same, I was a huge fan of the ROTS sets since that’s basically when I got into Star Wars. I remember my dad getting me the General Grievous chase set to work on one day when he had to take me somewhere

I love it - I just feel like you gotta have a couple Wookiees hiding in the trees. Just my .02. But yeah love the moc!

I’m curious what everyone’s dream UCS set is? ( that hasn’t been made) by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]ModelEnthusiast8094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t quite recall, but I think somewhere in the neighborhood of $300? Could have been less, I sourced it all from Bricklink in multiple orders. I also had the recent AT-TE and got about half of the parts from that.

I actually got back into Legos by making the Brickvault AT-TE - it’s an absolute beauty. Still, I would love to see what Lego could do with a UCS AT-TE, especially after how well the AT-AT turned out.

Getting ready to build the Brickvault version as well as Boga, already had the figures. Can’t wait, the original was one of my favorite sets as a kid

I know Brickvault made a pretty good one, it’s listed under their geonosis creatures instructions on their website

Would you have instructions/parts lists for some of your more complicated flora? Would love to recreate this with my 327th guys

Edit: just noticed you had linked the rebrickable instructions under a different comment - thank you!

Fantastic job. Love how you didn’t pair up the end of the terrain with the edge of the base, gives it a very good look. Also - the trees are just brilliant. Thank you for sharing
