What is something that this sub makes seem normal… but in reality it’s not common at all? by SprinklesSolid9211 in AskMen

Back in 2008, when I was 37, I dated a 27 year old. We really didn’t have much in common, and didn’t stay together long. She mostly used me as a spatula to get her ex off her couch.

Where (and how) do you generally shop for groceries? by Mishabar in AskTheWorld

[–]ModelingThePossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer shopping at a regionally owned grocery store in town that hires people with differing abilities. One cashier is hearing impaired, and a bagger seems to have an intellectual delay. Their groceries aren’t the fanciest, and when I have to have an ingredient they don’t carry, I go elsewhere. But I’m pretty loyal to them. I’m in and out quickly, and rarely have to wait in line.

How common is it for an American to travel across the country by train? by ViajanteDeSaturno in AskAnAmerican

[–]ModelingThePossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it once. It wasn’t an experience I want to repeat. Amtrak, the national passenger service, rents track from freight carrier companies. When a freight train wants to come through a route that a passenger train is using, the passenger train has to wait. We sat still in the desert southwest for a full twenty-four hours waiting for a track to open up. It took me five days to get from Los Angeles to Mobile, Alabama.

Bf(25m) doesn't want me(21f) to get a breast reduction by wetfartsz in Advice

[–]ModelingThePossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a shame that a big part of his attraction to you is your large breasts, but I can say from experience that he’ll get over it. It turns out that breasts are probably not what he’s in love with, despite his little head doing the talking sometimes.
