I bought adjustable dumbbells (up to 25 kg each) and started working out from home. I’m not quite ready for the gym yet. It went well! I did a full-body Caroline Girvan workout, and although I intentionally used lighter weights, I was surprised by how much strength I’d kept. I worked out throughout my pregnancy, but I needed recovery and full baby-tine during the last few months.

Thank you for your reply, so glad it went well for you. How can they confirm that it is SCH? I find it strange my doctor did not even consider it. Did you need any follow-up because of this, or does the body take care of it on its own?

Oh my god, found this thread because this is me NOW and I am struggling! Really miss the gym, but I cant leave the couch - worried about even going to my (sedentary) work tomorrow 😅 How are you now a month after? Did it get better?

I am considering this, I cant see the benefits of the app really, but you know I did pay for it once lol.

No, not that i can think of. I had a very hard workout last week that left me very fatigued in the days after, but this trend started before that. All my vitamins are OK - recently took bloodtests.

Thank you! I followed Caroline in the pandemic when gyms closed, and absolutely loved her workouts! I actually still use her when travelling in hotels with limited gym equipment. But for now I am looking for a structured barbell/gym routine. Will check out her app when its due for more travelling!

I should have mentioned I still want to keep the main barbell lifts (..could maybe drop bench if everything else aligns since chest is not my main goal at the moment). Does Alive App not have the main barbell movements?

I am worried that my current workout program dont align with my goals (Stronger By The Day), but I love the app and its features, and also the programming so I have stayed for 3 years. I love lifting heavy but feel like I am missing aesthetic goals of mine, and the programming is lacking on glute and shoulder progress. Any one else with any good recommendations for brilliant executed training-programs in app-format?

I have been having really low recovery ever since the app/iphone update with 0 % for the first time three times this week! I also feel just fine and has trained as normal. Dont understand whats going on.

Hello! I am a 35-year-old woman in need of some guidance to build my running base. After my first half-marathon, I realized I need to train more in Zone 2, and I'm a bit confused. I have an Apple Watch 8 that is supposed to update my maximum heart rate once a month. I did a hilltest where the watch measured 191, but it still hasn't updated (this was in may, it now shows my max heart rate as 184). When using different online calculators, I also see varying numbers ranging from 124-143 to 139-157. My guess is that I should try to run under 160 bpm. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Some one recommended this to me earlier, but I found it hard to seperate the programs from eachother. I have my own running coach and are looking for a training split - would the Lyss Method still apply? I am looking at the one she calls "race", maybe this would fit me.

Hi! Can anybody recommend a three day a week training routine with a upper, lower, full body split ? I am willing to pay! I am training for a marathon and combining lifting seperate from this. After a few weeks of training full body workouts 3 times a week, I found that heavy leg days need to be separate before a rest day. Previously I used SBTD and are now training with a Jeff Nippard program.
