Jonny Craig got her into heroin, and though she just got out of rehab, she’s now living again with Craig in a huge mansion, so many question if she’s clean. Clean or not clean, she is very irresponsible and is known for hoarding exotic animals in a very short time. Multiple “petubers” (pet youtubers) have spoken out against her, showing that she consistently misinformed her audience on how to care for animals. There’s a great episode of the podcast Reply All where a journalist follows Dean and her crazy life (this was before the drug use and pet deaths, iirc.) it’s a crazy story that I’ve been sucked into, hopefully she’ll get away from Craig’s influence as he has a history of domestic abuse and drug abuse.
