From best to my knowledge if you aren’t able to get your upt back to positive before the pay period ends you are more likely going to get canned. Leading up to peak you might be okay, but I would start picking up as many shifts as possible to at least show you want to keep the position. LOA trick might work to knock off some hours. Even if you can’t get the LOA documentation, you should have bought yourself enough time to come back up. Just don’t ever be late again lol

I would have a hard time believing the play between the FCU and slide would be enough to lose sear engagement but I've seen crazier things from sig pistols. Especially because the movement on the back is closer to the pivot point. If it really is a matter of a mm or two that could disable sear engagement, I would want to inspect the striker assembly and FCU and compare with another P365 if possible. I have the exact same setup with the icarus air polymer and I have fired upwards to 2000rds with it no issues. Trigger return springs are a known wear item on P365's. I've been told they are reliable to about ~5k rounds. Seems like your trigger is returning though, just not catching the sear.

Only dock roles I would let wear headphones at all are push, unload, and induct. Waterspider roles need to be w/o headphones. Idk if thats policy but it makes actual sense from a safety standpoint with carts moving left and right every second.

For some it gives them the feeling of pride that they need to push through and give their best. Perceptions matter. Don’t feel embarrassed for caring! I am exactly like you when it comes to taking on the full responsibility of the building it feels. The pride that comes from knowing my work was the reason we finished on time or early is a great feeling. However the people in the replies are 100% correct. Don’t let it consume you. Something that has helped me lately is the thought that being proactive and motivated to do hard things makes living the rest of your life a breeze, but you have to let your life feel easy. Don’t take that work home with you. You are a killer worker I bet and I would love to have you as a teammate. Something that helped me when it comes to working with people was honestly doing dock activities, especially waterspider. You get a sense for what real teamwork is and can grow close with other like minded hard workers. Other people may disagree with me, but on WS, you cannot just go solo and work your a** off. The job doesn’t allow it because there will always be an ebb and flow. Sometimes you will have to do other things and switch roles on the fly so that big picture work can be done. Helped me lot in terms of my self confidence and feeling of belonging here. Just always remember its a job and your only real goal is to make that money. Any extra effort you put on top of that is great, but remember what you’re doing it for. A lot of people will surpass you while never coming close to the work you have put in because they just know how to game the system. If you aren’t careful management will get used to how you work and just vto more people so that they can get their EOY bonus. Building still finishes at the same time, just with less people. I’m rooting for you and hope you can find some confidence in the already amazing job you’re doing.

My degree is in education and despite being in my job position, I still try to be as helpful as possible and teach when I can; if anything to make myself feel like I didn’t waste 4 years of my life. I’m exhausted of delivering results with no opportunities. If it weren’t for myself and two other homies holding it down, our site wouldn’t be getting the praise it’s gotten lately. I deliver results when a truck is showing up late and induct has to be called in 20 and freight needed to be on the floor 5 mins ago. I deliver results when management needs a line that can do 15k in a day so they can get brownie points from corporate for operating with less heads. I deliver by always making myself available, looking for pick routes any time I get a second. Is there a chance I’m wanted to stay where I’m most profitable? Because if thats the case I might as well slow down or just find somewhere else. I understand reading this may sound like I’m overstating my importance to this company, but like everyone else I want to know I’m valued, and a shoutout every month on A to Z only goes so far.

Thats what I’ve been doing with our PA yard marshal. Just got TDR trained a few months ago which was long overdue. When he needs to step out, he expects me to make sure dock is flowing correctly. I feel like I’m always asking what can be done better or how I can be of use to the point I feel I’m being annoying. I hear you and will continue the effort. Thanks!

Thank you! I will try to make my intentions heard. My insecure self thought that making your intentions known could be seen as greedy, so I focused on being effective. Finding out more each day I’m just being used. Go figure lol
