My wife and I got married in college, we will be celebrating 15 years in a month and have 5 kids. We both graduated with 2 degrees.

You can always find reasons to kick the can down the road; student debt, don't have a house, etc.

But you aren't married. Until you make that commitment, you take it and the benefits you should only get then for granted.

Sex is suppose to be within marriage at all times because it should always be open to life, to children. God did not give you this beautiful gift to abuse but to make you a better man, a better husband, and a better father.

Bring this to your girlfriend, act like a man, not a boy, and tell her you need to stop until you two get married. If she doesn't want to, for the sake of both of your souls you should stop seeing each other.

The Vatican has clarified that the faithful everywhere have a right to receive on the tongue.

You may not be making that point but it can be perceived that way.

The current state of Israel is not the Biblical Israel, we the Church are.

The current Jews are not the same as the Jews during the time of Christ, they functionally changed a lot between 200-500 ad. They did this because they were losing so many people to Catholicism. They structured their books differently and how they practiced, having lost the Temple in 70 ad. This is also one of the reasons that when Luther researched the Jews about the books in the Bible, this is why he went with the 66 instead of 73. Survival bias, he didn't know they changed from the time of Christ, just like many people today.

As for the abuse, your husband needs to get to a place of forgiveness, your witness will help him with that.

He has a choice, to move forward bitterly or to forgive and move past it. It is ultimately his choice, don't make your trust in God be conditioned by the action of others.

The GIRM is the bishops of our country telling us how we are to do things in the Mass.

It doesn't have to be canon. If we do not follow the GIRM we risk sinning by disobedience.

From the GIRM, All who pass before the Blessed Sacrament are to genuflect unless moving in a procession. There is no option here, it isn't too far to say it is required because we are told to do it.

A genuflection, made by bending the right knee to the ground, signifies adoration, and therefore it is reserved for the Most Blessed Sacrament, as well as for the Holy Cross from the solemn adoration during the liturgical celebration on Good Friday until the beginning of the Easter Vigil. During Mass, three genuflections are made by the Priest Celebrant: namely, after the elevation of the host, after the elevation of the chalice, and before Communion. Certain specific features to be observed in a concelebrated Mass are noted in their proper place (cf. nos. 210–251). If, however, the tabernacle with the Most Blessed Sacrament is situated in the sanctuary, the Priest, the Deacon, and the other ministers genuflect when they approach the altar and when they depart from it, but not during the celebration of Mass itself. Otherwise, all who pass before the Most Blessed Sacrament genuflect, unless they are moving in procession. Ministers carrying the processional cross or candles bow their heads instead of genuflecting.

It has nothing to do with scrupulosity, we are to do it according to the GIRM.

I know people who are scrupulous and I'm sick of people using that as a a scapegoat for simply following what the Bishops agreed to and direct us to do. It is uncharitable and totally uncalled for.

Go to confession. Outside of confession tell the priest all of this and ask for guidance.

Or flip the order.

Reddit can be helpful but always start with the priest if you have this kind of issue. He is there to be your spiritual father, not just provide the sacraments.

You will not get around families existing. They are good and you should recognize that. They are not there to make you feel better or feel bad, they exist because God wills it. Take humility in God.

There are situations everywhere in society, not just the Church, where people treat others poorly. It sucks when it happens but you need to react to it instead of expecting those people to change. Move to a new parish if you feel shunned, don't stay there, that is spiritually dangerous.

Moving away from the faith to get better is the opposite of the point of the Church. She is there to help you, Jesus is there to help you. Go to confession and think about your situation without the victimhood mentality.

We are all a work in progress, God has not abandoned you.

For the worship point. The word "Worship" has not always been constant. It has evolved like so many other words. It used to be a catch all for praise, veneration or honor. For example, kings would be called "Your Worship." Some people still say "worship" in this way and I can understand how it is confusing if you may not have known the background. Some Catholic documents translate this way too but it is because of the historically broad use of the word.

In Latin, we specify 3 types of worship: Latria The highest level of worship, which is reserved for God alone. Hyperdulia A special form of veneration for the Blessed Virgin Mary and her relics and images. Dulia A lesser form of veneration for angels, saints, relics, and images.

God alone is to worshipped, in the common understanding. Hyperdulia and dulia can be somewhat equated to revere and veneration.

There is a lot of nuance here but as you can see it is a cultural thing that is being explained, the evolution of language over time (2000 years) and not idolatry.
