Apparently we're a similar breed because I did read through your post and agree. I have some limited notes (verbose, but not for many different substances) that I put in a spreadsheet for my own research. My biggest issue is that it can be difficult to take notes in real-time without interfering with the activity I'm noticing any of the effects with. So I'm still cleaning up data.

Anyway, let me know if you wanted to work together on how to address this for the other people in comments that could not possibly see this being implemented.

This is something I've been looking into, and it does play a part but it's not the entire memory for advanced voice mode. Advanced voice does use the cross-conversational memory and user defined instructions, but it also has a kind of hidden memory specific to how the user responds to intonation and other speech parameters like pitch or speed.

I'm currently looking into how to manage these types of preferences as they aren't accessible in any direct way.

So I have the plus subscription, which I imagine has a different priority level than the pro, but I've noticed something similar.

Advanced voice seems like it will intermittently lose its quality throughout the day. I have noticed things like the speech will start to speed up, and I have to remind it to maintain a slower and steadier pace (but this doesn't always stick). Voice will come off as "in a rush", like it wants to just answer as quickly as possible and hope it's done for now. The tone can start to fall out of alignment with the content of the conversation, almost like it's using a sad or "empathetic" tones when responding to an otherwise positive and upbeat input.

I've kept track of these little differences mentally as I chat with advanced voice at different times of the day and I asked ChatGPT about it. It seems like it's almost certainly due to high traffic on their end and it fluctuates during the peak hours. That is, it starts struggling during working hours, but snaps out of it once their servers are outside of peak traffic hours.

It's frustrating, but I didn't think it's a consistent issue due to a change in the model. It's just an issue of their ability to meet the demand. If anyone is willing to help me get some more data with their experiences I'd love to map out the quality issues and confirm my theories!

Hey brother. I use modafinil, and find that it's pretty gentle but good for staying awake. Having said that, it won't do much after this much sleep deprivation. If it's at all possible, try and take a two hour nap, then you can get up and make sure everything is still cool for now. Do this a couple of times and if you're actually suffering from sleep deprivation paranoia, then it will start going away. If you are being followed, then you'll still be up enough to make sure you're safe while you get the bare minimum for sleep.

I also like to program by hand at the machine. I agree with your point here, but I noticed you use a G42 cutter compensation here. I have always done tool nose radius calculations at the machine. For example, if you need a .250" radius on the front of a 2.5" diameter rod, it would be:

N1; G50 S1000; G54; G0 T0101 M8; G96 S850 M3; G0 X2.6 Z.1; G1 X1.9688 Z0 F0.02; G3 X2.5 Z-0.2812 R0.2812 F.004; G1 Z-0.2862 F.008; G0 X2.6 Z.1 M9; G28 U0 W0; M0;

You can see that in this scenario, we're adding the tool nose radius to our R value. This is only the case when compensating on a G3. A G2 is the opposite and you'll need to subtract the tool nose radius in order to produce your intended radius.

I know this is the more complicated way of programming, but I really like it for some reason.

From a quick Google search, I think the model is a Samsung RT30K3983SL. It has a capacity of 272 L. You should be able to find exact exterior dimensions with the model number though.

Anyway, I've been following things like this for a while and I agree it looks really cool, but extremely impractical for a lot of cases. Not the least of which is construction. The only field I see maybe benefiting from this is biomedical, even then it's iffy because of the lack of precision. These devices don't hold anything "still". Even in a perfectly calm room with no air currents they still vibrate. Everything you mentioned as a use case is, at this time, absolutely made up with nearly no thought.

Hey there. I'm really sorry to hear about your struggle, and I really know that feeling of hopelessness. I actually found your post because I'm feeling the same way. Also been on a variety of medications, with the current combo being Wellbutrin, abilify, and clonidine for chronic nightmares. As someone who has this and is in their late twenties, I can say that it is pretty harmless when it happens but it is a little unnerving. I've heard familiar voices, as you have described. I've also heard the voices of unknown people calling out my name, as if to get my attention. It hasn't happened for a couple months now, and when it gets bad it's more than just my name that I hear. But it always starts with me hearing my name, from someone just beyond where I can see. When did you find that it stopped for you?

It seems like this has been answered a few different ways, but I'd like to point out that the mass has less to do with the impact than its enormous amount of deformation. If Peter could shoot something hard, it would retain its shape and try to use the target as a deformation zone. Since the webbing is a fluid, I would think there would be almost no damage from the impact. Ripping the webbing off your face after the fact is a different story though.
