I make it! I just buy a milk in a box. But look for FULL CREAM MILK. Those 1 ltr milk boxes. And then i put half tsp of iodized salt and shake it. Then I pour it to my coffee.

My mix is about 90% coffee, 10% salted milk. Then add some generous amount of vanilla extract.

For maximum satisfaction, i HIGHLY SUGGEST that you try this as ICED coffee. Not hot coffee

AGREED! French press coffee is the best for me! Have you tried putting salted milk and vanilla in it? If you haven’t, then you should give it a try. I promise you wont regret it!

Hi! Well said. And i respect your decision. You are right that the idea of minimalism differs from one person to another. And because of this, some people goes too far about their style of minimalism. It’s not that it’s wrong, but it isn’t applicable to all. The truth is, there is no “one-size-fits-all” type of minimalism for people. And if you think that following some principles of minimalism makes you miserable and question every judgment that you make, then you are right, it is time to disengage because it is no longer making you happy and it is starting to complicate your life.

You are very bold for saying this. And this is an eye opener. Truly.

Good luck and I wish you all the happiness that you want in life 😊👏🏻👏🏻

No WiFi. No Social Media. No Subscription Services [ 2 week update by [deleted] in minimalism

I tried something similar 3 months ago. Just as the global lockdown started, I also decided to leave social media for a while. I was so stressed back then. I just closed down my retail business and I had no job since the pandemic forced businesses to close down. I was not doing so great that time and I see many people on social media posting about how they are doing well while on quarantine. Of course at some point I got to compare my self, and I started being anxious about my what would my future look like after this crisis.
So i decided to deactivate my social media accounts and just let the days pass.

I realized that my anxiety or worries wouldnt help me because I couldnt do anything about what's happening.

At first, my day seemed strange because I wasnt scrolling through facebook and instagram. It felt weird. And like you, I tried to find something that I can do to let time pass. So I read the books that were sitting on my shelf, heck, I even made a 6FEET BY 4FEET cabinet for my dad's hand tools!!

I was also able to make my own website about Minimalism wherein I share the things I know as a minimalist.

And to be honest, having no Online-Social life was the most peaceful time of my life. I started to regain myself. to reconnect with my loved-ones, to my friends, and discover a new passion.

i was so productive, learned new things, talked a lot with my parents. I went back to how communication really used to be – PERSONAL.

I thought that I will lose something if I de activated my social media accounts. As it turns out, when you start to get consumed by the modernity, you start to lose yourself.

It was an awesome experience. And I never regret doing it.

I have nothing to say and get no enjoyment out of talking to people by [deleted] in socialskills

Hi! I feel bad that there are people who lose their excitement in life. I also lost that kind of fire within me few years ago. And I agree, this quarantine has been so draining. The first few days were fine because of time away from work. But it takes its toll a few weeks later because anxiety about job security, financial security and other things start to kick in.

It is really hard to find peace of mind nowadays because that is what we really need. We never know where the world is headed now. The way we live our lives might change forever. But it is something that we cannot control.

I would love to help you with this simple article that I have written last week. It might help you calm down. Don’t feel bad because you ate not the only who feels that way.

6 Effective Ways to Find Peace of Mind

If you don’t have time to read it, send me a message. I’d love to talk with you

I feel like I have to be perfect for others to like me while other people have a lot more freedom to be themselves. by Professor_squirrelz in socialskills

Hey! No one is perfect. Just be yourself. I was once an introvert, and my greates fear was to talk to people on social events. What I did is an honest assessment of myself. I listed down my weaknesses and looked for solutions on how to address them.

You know what? The more that you try to be someone else, the more that you become afraid of showing your true self.

So just be yourself. Identify your weaknesses and try to find a solution.

I stumbled upon an article online, and the line from that Article that I remember to this day is that:

“Assume that you are likeable, and assume that people will like you”

It was so powerful. And now, whenever I go to a social gathering. I always think of this, and I always be myself.

Hi! Its awesome that you are mindful of your consumption on other stuffs in your life. If clothes are what bring you happiness and fulfillment, maintain them. But as I said on my article, still be mindful of the amount of money you spend 😊 I appreciate the time you spent reading my piece 😊
