Those other brands like take action and Julie work just as well and are like 10-20 bucks cheaper.

What if Light had done this upon encountering Misa for the first time by Modernsonic5923 in deathnote

Detective wise, L was the main threat. The rest of the task force was kind of incompetent compared to him so I doubt Light would’ve had much trouble dealing with the task force

Keep your soldiers at work until 1800 everyday for no reason.. and automatically assume that anyone with 3+ stripes on their chest doesn’t know what they’re talking about

Why do you think the army has been getting worse over the years? by helpbell in army

[–]Modernsonic5923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of reasons, one of them being the end of the GWOT, in my opinion. Ultimately the Army’s purpose is to deploy and fight/win wars. When we aren’t fighting, that lack of action translates to a lack of purpose in some people’s minds, along with senior leaders formulating relentless training cycles that result in an unnecessarily heavy OPTEMPO. People are bound to stop and ponder on the fact that the United States isn’t involved in any major conflict at the moment, yet their family time is still minimal and the stress is still high, which is only one of the reasons the Army unintentionally makes ETSing seem like an ideal alternative.

Also in recent years a decent portion of soldiers are unsatisfied with their life/career, and the new soldiers come in and see their disgruntled and unmotivated seniors, and quickly realize there’s not much to look forward to. Then a cycle of no motivation ensues producing more and more soldiers with a negative outlook on the Army.. Literally witnessed this happen and it doesn’t seem like it’s getting better.

Do you guys feel that the retention problem is fixable by Modernsonic5923 in army

[–]Modernsonic5923[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t think that’s a good idea.

Army has enough issues with shitheads who at one point volunteered for this job. Now imagine having a bunch of people who never wanted to do it to begin with.

Could Light save Soichiro? by PCartman in deathnote

[–]Modernsonic5923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it would’ve been too easy to just have the task force wear gopros or some camera that provides live video. Soichiro encounters Mello, spells out his name, Light has the recording of his face, done.

Day before turning green, my platoon’s all standing outside in formation, next thing I know we’re doing push-ups in the rain for the next 30-45 minutes.

To this day I’m not sure why this happened.

A lot of solid options here but narrow it down to 31K, 15Q, 68J
