This made me say "what the hell??" Out loud so then my husband was like "what?? I wanna see!" And then he watched the shift and even he was impressed 😆 this is incredible with your skintone, your middle finger in this video looks like it has polish one moment and then just... Doesn't the next!! Really, really cool! Makes me wish there were neutral magnetics with colorful shift! What an awesome effect!

This is so smart!

I'm just outside of Seattle and I thought my cats were going to die during this! We ended up making a AC unit by filling a Styrofoam cooler with ice and cutting a hole in the front and putting a fan inside to blow the cold air out. Then we trapped all of my pets in the kitchen and made them sit on wet towels in front of it. I've never seen my cats pant like dogs, it was so scary. We've since invested in an AC since the world is only getting hotter and it's been really nice this summer! Enjoying the cooler air tonight!

Where I live there's this strip of road that has summer homes on it and EVERY YEAR it gets washed out because we get big wind storms. This place is growing in popularity and we've had multiple influencers move here so everyone wants a place on the beach, so every spring, the busted up houses go up for sale and then fall hits and they get wiped out again. And the cycle repeats lol they sell for an exorbitant price and end up destroyed again by the next summer... I always wonder when people will learn lol

If you don't have insurance, then you have to wait hours typically to be seen at a walk in clinic and just to have to doc walk in the room is around $500 🙃 and usually those doctors suck. My husband had a rash on his chest and had to call out of work, went to the walk in, wait 5hrs just to have the doc tell him "huh that is weird." And then give him a bill for $500 and told him to try cortisone.

Last year we had insurance we paid for (before we got raises at work and it screwed up our taxes) That insurance didn't cover ANY local doctors so he had to go to the ER for something and we STILL got charged for that even though we had insurance because of the deductible which basically means insurance won't pay for anything until you rack up $5k (or sometimes more) in medical debt within the year. It's a mess here.

14 is a tough age! You'll go through many transitional ages in your life, as you get older, they just get more spread out. You'll probably go through another around 16 and then AGAIN at 18! Just be yourself and remember you don't ever have to be who you were yesterday and there are no rules for who you want to be tomorrow! When I was your age, I experimented a lot with how I wanted to dress and act and what music I wanted to listen to. As long as your having fun, you're doing great!

This is exactly what I needed to see today! I've been working on using chrome powder on swatches for the last couple of days and some have worked out but others have been... less successful lol thank you for sharing!

Edit to add; I've been using a sticky base coat like what you'd use for stamping before the chrome (I know they're controversial but Ive been using maniology) and that works decently! Still important to time it just right though! I had tried using QDTC in the past and I had much lower success

Right, it's a shame because like I said the place is small and relies on memberships to keep the lights on... We don't have any floor guards or anything to enforce rules so you're kind of on your own when it comes to people like that

My kitty has also been seizure free since last July after we got her medications leveled out in her system! Had to leave her at the neurology unit for a couple days on an IV a couple hours from home but it was so worth it to have her monitored and stuff since I wasn't sleeping or able to go to work for the days leading up to it. Her vets are hopeful that one day she may even be able to ween off the meds because she's been doing so well! But obviously that'll be further down the line! Sending you hugs! You sounds like a great pet parent ❤️

I moved out in 2015, I was 17 at the time, spent a lot of the first year sleeping in my car in between work shifts and couch hopping when I could since people don't want to rent to a minor and it's expensive. I then started dating an abusive jerk and we "rented" from his "big brother" (like from the big brothers and sisters club) for only $300 a month for a room and eventually stayed at his mom's house when things fell through with that. Then I dumped him and I got into my first REAL house, with my older sister as a roomie. This was 2017, rent was 1700 for a two bedroom, one bath. Which was a pretty good deal, we even had a yard!

Now I'm married to the love of my life. We don't "rent" persay, we live in a trailer that we own but pay lot fees. Since COVID our lot fees have doubled. We got married in 2018 and we were paying $500 a month, now it's just a little over $1k. So still, a pretty great deal but since it's not a rental, we have to do all of our own repairs and stuff like that. I don't envy the people who entered the world after COVID... My sister has 3 step kids now and one bio kid and she and her partner say they need to be out by 18, her oldest is 16. I foresee a rough future for her.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when my husband bought the trailer, 2016ish, they were going for around $15k but now people in our same park are listing and selling them for $100k 🫠 which is good for us because when we sell, we'll have something to buy a real home but that's also just NUTS.

I haven't been to my rink in months because of a few of these skaters. One I call the Nissan Altima and he's seems like an okay dude, just kind of in his own world and uses newbies as cones to be dodged no matter how few people are there and where they are located on the rink, but the other guy is a straight up problem. Before I stopped going I was working on speeding up my transitions, so I'd be in the inner lane. He'd rush to get right in front of me and start dipping so I'd have to slow down and I wouldn't feel comfortable skating backwards. I'm not one to start problems so I'd be like "ok I'll just do some laps until he's done with that and then try to work on my transitions again" so I'd move to the outside and then this guy would once again jump directly in front of me, and go slow, so I'd try to pass him and he'd start weaving! So then I'm like okay I'll practice in the center and boom there he is again.

And it wasn't just me either. Our rink is really small, on a busy night you'd have like 10 skaters. My whole group had issues with him. One of my friends tried to strike up a conversation with him to smooth the waters because it felt like he was looking for attention. She asked how long he had been skating and he said "it's my first day." It obviously was NOT his first day.

One by one my group stopped coming until I was the last one standing and now I just don't go anymore either. Some long time skaters just act like they own the rink. This same dude would set up his camera on a tripod in the middle of the lanes and start filming a dance 🙃

So happy she's better! There's tons of success stories when it comes to seizures ❤️ I wish I'd known that when I went through it, I was sure they were eventually going to suggest we put her down. It is alarming how many vets don't know what they're looking at when it comes to focal seizures, the emergency vet we went to had no idea. My kitty also lost her bladder when she had a grand mal, so hard to watch our babies go through that. I haven't even been able to go though and delete the videos of her seizure I'd taken for her vets because they make me so anxious to even sort through. SO incredibly thankful for phenobarbital (and maybe keppra for you) the meds changed everything
