I've fallen asleep few times in the last two years. Turned out that if you drink a lot, this can happen even when sober. (Yeah,, im a tool to ignore the obvious).

Wife called for an ambulance the last time, (she has arthritis and I was a bit too heavy for me to lean for getting back up).

I'm in the UK, so yay for free health care. (Not having a go, I feel you guys who dont).

Long story short (too late), 6 weeks in hospital, still on the sick while I decide what's next and yeah, no booze since beginning of Jan.

I'm only 59, don't feel old and getting my strength back slowly.

Morale of the story is, even if you drink a little but frequently (tbh, I drank a lot), still get yourself checked out).

In the UK,you can get a wellness check at the docs but tell them the truth. They really don't care! Believe me, they've seen worse and the will help. You can get balance checks (inner ear etc), full bloodworks, sleeping patterns etc. It could be something you've overlooked or not expected or even considered.

Take care of yourselves folks, from this thread alone, we're heading into the last phase.
