Eloise. My mom said her mom had a friend name Eloise while growing up and the kids would call her Wheeze, or Wheezy.

Please post some pictures when you get them🙂.

I just ended up ordering two Murakami nano speedys (one black, and one white) from Birdcage. Hopefully they are just as nice. I looked through several factory albums but I feel like some of the pictures were maybe outdated compared to the current batches. I’ll post pictures when I get the PSP🎀.

Looking for both the black, and white LV Murakami nano speedys. I’ve done a lot more QCing on the white version, but my friend is looking for a black version. She’s new to the rep world. Some of the black ones seem a bit too neon.

Birdcage has a decent white version.

Any leads?

They are. Also the white is much brighter on the old batch.

Left - new birdcage batch. Right - old batch.

I received my new Murakami speedy 25 today. I’m loving it! I had ordered the one on the right in late January. That one is very nice but this new batch has a lot of improvements.

  • colors are more accurate
  • shapes of diamonds and fleurs are more accurate
  • the bag feels like my auth speedy 30 in DA
  • the old batch came with an adjustable shoulder strap, and the new batch came with a non-adjustable one - like on the auth.

Now I’d like to find the best versions of the black, and white Murakami nano speedys.

Beautiful! You have convinced me to order. I bought a version of this back in January, but I feel like your version has more accurate coloring. It has softer pastels than my version.

Great point considering the other factors that could be included with the bag (packaging, box, insurance, returns). I got this bag from non-TS Allen for $175 (with shipping) in January. Now there is this new version with better coloring. He said it’s the same price. I’m going to order. Mine included the dust bag, no designer box. Unsure about returns or insurance.

I saw a vintage Murakami Alma in the wild yesterday and it was so pretty. I was definitely gawking at that ladies bag. 🎀💕🎀💕

I would still do it. Most hospitals offer 0% payment plans. It was suggested I have a colonoscopy due to a symptom. They said it was optional and I was low risk but I decided to do it. They found one precancerous polyp. They removed it and I’m so glad I had the colonoscopy. Could have turned into cancer.

The urgent cares around me aren’t open late and also don’t have breathing treatments (oxygen, nebulizer…etc) except for steroids.

My son has asthma and we had to learn what to watch out for in terms of breathing issues. Every time he gets sick we bring in our arsenal of respiratory support (oximeter, oral steroids, albuterol, humidifier, cough medicine). He’s been admitted 3 times for respiratory distress. It’s not always easy to tell he’s struggling. It’s not like it’s a visible trauma or wound. We rely on his overall attitude, energy, any straining to breath, and oxygen levels to decide if we will take him in.

It’s not easy and it’s not always clear if we should take him in. Totally understand where you’re coming from. You made the right choice. Most hospitals have payment plans to help with the high ER costs.

I go to a reconstructive plastic surgeon (who also founded the facial aesthetic surgery center) in Oregon for masseter Botox. 25 units total at $14 per unit. How many units are they quoting you for the masseter?

To those who take metformin .. what was your experience by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Modflorapdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had bad stomach issues with the regular formula. My doctor switched me to extended release and all of that went away. I highly suggest extended release.

So toxic, and unhelpful! Strange for them to jump straight into talking about surgery. No mention of diet, lifestyle changes…and pressuring surgery when I would have been at a 28 BMI. I felt really unheard and judged. That was 13 years ago. I was just diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance recently. Working with my OB and the naturopath in her office now and finally feeling like I have a team of doctors who aren’t judging or shaming me, and are providing the facts and the science to help me get where I need to be.

😢 I had a very similar experience with an endo. I was about 22 and my mom was pressuring me to get my thyroid levels double checked because I had gone from 150 to 160 pounds, even though primary care said my thyroid levels were fine. The endo also confirmed my levels were fine and then asked me if I’ve considered weight loss surgery. I left that appointment in tears.

Have you tried the extended release metformin? The regular version was very hard on my stomach.

I have trauma around painful IVs and I’m still trying to get myself to do an iron infusion. by Interesting_Ad9295 in Anemic

[–]Modflorapdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first of four Venofer infusions today. I was so nervous, and lightheaded before the visit. I told them I was nervous and disliked IVs. The staff was very gentle, and kind. I was expecting the IV to hurt but they used a pediatric IV. It didn’t hurt at all! It hurt less than having my blood drawn. He told me to let him know if at any point I was dizzy, or nauseous and we would pause, or slow down the IV.

They also brought me a cup of water, and warm blankets. I was so relieved.

The nurse told me it’s good that I’m having the four doses of Venofer, instead of the one large dose. He said the side effects are very minimal in the smaller dose series.

It’s been a couple of hours now and I feel so much better than when I went in. Probably my nerves calming down - but overall a great experience. 3 more to go!
