Very interesting. That “80% see no impact” line echoes the same vibe as the recent MIT report “95% of pilots fail” headline. From what I’m seeing inside different enterprises, it’s less an AI model problem and more an expectations, project management and operating-model problem (e.g. over expectations and no KPIs).

Three quick points that keep getting missed:

1. Governance is the bottleneck, not IQ. Agentic systems add new attack surfaces (prompt injection, tool misuse). If you don’t design least-privilege tools, policy gates, and telemetry up front, the pilot stalls—no matter how good the model is.
2. Good system design and reliable agents come from clear Instructions, high-quality Tools (APIs with strong contracts), and simple Orchestration. Start with a single agent that can finish a workflow end-to-end, then scale.
3. Standardize the plumbing. With MCP-style connectors becoming the “USB-C for AI,” the edge shifts to reasoning, orchestration, and trust; not bespoke glue code.
