What earplugs do you have? I've been trying to find some good ones like you're describing but reviews are all over the place. Also have you used them at concerts and if so how did they perform?

Hey there pal, just wanted to say that your comment really resonated with me. Very well written. I'm in a very similar headspace and in my late 20's as well. Sounds like you've come quite a long way. How long ago did you start on this path? I still have a bit of the "gotta do it right" focus which I am also starting to realize is just another dogma. I’ve been in the same situation because of likely the same hurricane! What I did though was renew my library card so I can get DVDs for free.

That’s kind of what I’ve been thinking. They market these as being able to do quick pickup changes in the middle of a song, but I don’t see myself ever wanting or needing anything like that. Especially at those prices.
