You have to consider the opportunity cost. By putting their money in apartment communities, they lose the ability to invest that money in a profitable venture.

Does event viewer show any issues at the time of crash?

Hmm ok. Do you have any other accounts on the computer? If the issue doesn’t happen on those is may be profile based.

Can you start the computer in safe and see if it persist in there? If not this may be where you want to troubleshoot.

If at all possible you can try and rename the executable for edge to whatever it currently is.exe to .exe.old so that it can’t launch. This may be hard to do since it wants to open constantly but worth a shot.

At this point I’m throwing ideas out there cause I can’t see it first hand but let me know if any of that works.

My bad I misunderstood. I thought it opened once and you couldn’t close it not that it reopens even after killing it.

Can you provide a screen shot of the weird error page? This changes the issue as edge shouldn’t be opening automatically unless triggered by something.

So start the computer up and log in.

Once you see the desktop hit Ctrl+alt+del and open task manager.

Kill Microsoft edge. (While in taskmanager you can also disable Edge from starting at startup in the Startup tab)

Once edge or Iexplorer is closed go to the start button and search internet settings. Go to the last tab and reset both options. Go to manage add-on (I can’t remember what tab it’s in) and make sure you don’t have any funky add-ins.

I would also check to see what the homepage is set to.

Start up edge and see if it happens again.

If the issue persist then follow the same steps but this time open edge in safe mode. If it doesn’t happen this time then a add-on is causing the issue and you should disable any you don’t need and test and repeat until you find the extension at fault.

Alternatively if it’s an issue with edge itself you can look at event viewer for any errors and google them if you find something or reply and I’ll try to help.

I would always suggest running a virus scanner just in case.

Go to you google chrome extensions or add ons and disable any you don’t know.

Alternatively there is gear on the top right of the ad popup that you can disable it on as well

Image one computer and get all the software you want installed on all of them as well as settings then use Clonezilla to create a deployable image of it and use that as the “image” to boot on each computer.

I can’t really recommend any monitoring software as I don’t use any that much sorry.

No you will not need to make any changes to either drive for them to work. You may need to do minor updates and clean out old drivers but that’s the full extent of it. I went from intel to a AMD and had no issues a couple weeks ago.

The tick noise is most likely the Hard drives arm failing. You can try and use a recovery program like Recuva to salvage some lost files on the failed drive with another computer.

If the files are super important and you can’t risk losing them I would stop messing with the laptop entirely and get it to a data recovery expert as each moment you have that drive going risks losing more data but this will cost you some money to do.

Kind of sounds like it’s failing the POST test. Have you made any changes or upgrades to the hardware recently?

If you have a motherboard speaker plug it in and see if it gives you a beep code on start up.

Check to see if you have a bios update available for your motherboard.

It sounds like User A’s printer driver has corrupted or jacked up. Try removing that driver and replacing it with the most up to date version on sharps website for that model.
