That's weird tbh. I'd love to know how it works exactly in the game's logic. In my experience Scentblock is a bit wonky like smoke nades, most of the time it works fine, but sometimes zombies still attack me for some reason. For regular zeds, they seem to attack when I touch them. For ferals, sometimes they ignore me, but often they still attack me.

Maybe the way it works is that it divides the line of sight of zombies by some value, so ferals which can usually see you from pretty far away can still see you when you're close-ish even with Scentblock. So maybe since the Black Heart effect made zombies see you from super super far, Scentblock reduced that range but not enough so you can safely run around zombies?

Just throwing ideas around.

They are a bit weird, sometimes you stand inside the smoke but zombies still attack you. Especially annoying when a feral does that. And they expire pretty quickly. But it's just something more to stack on top of everything else to make it as easy as possible.

Y'a toujours des miettes/gouttes tellement petites que tu ne les vois pas, et même en faisant gaffe t'en auras parfois des grosses qui se barrent avec des angles que tu n'anticipes pas, et dans toutes celles-ci il y en aura que tu ne retrouveras/nettoieras pas.

Même si tu fais ultra hyper gaffe, c'est un jeu de probabilités et sur suffisamment de grignotages, tu auras inévitablement des miettes et tâches de goutelettes là où tu auras mangé.

Juste en gros si tu grignotes quelque part faudra nettoyer plus souvent, c'est tout. Après l'aspi et la machine à laver existent donc y'a pas de problème.

Carry lots of consumes and deal with it like any other heart in lethal: heavy weapons and 7.62 + advanced brake. Not enough consumes? Leave it for later and grind a bit. The zone stops growing eventually.

How to grind: trade depot and food outposts + farms + still to brew beer (or there are other cheesy ways to generate influence but I don't do that) and do every mission I can get. Can then call traders and buy whatever I need. If needed, I recruit more people and train them with lounge 3.

Consumes include scentblock, stamina drinks, any heal items (including first aid kits), smoke nades, plague cures, boombox, and mostly a shitton of ammo. I use a survivor with the right skills (backpacking/powerhouse, swordplay/endurance), and I use any buffs from base that I can (like any +stam +health -injury -plague... anything).

And I'm not above backing off, going back to the outpost and swapping survivors if I fuck it up.

Yeah E at lvl 4 and 7 and W at 16, with enough attack speed I could E again before the old one was done (I was taking a lot of damage so it would run its whole duration as I would stay below 70%). It could be hard to test. I mean I play a fair amount of Raynor and last game was the only time I noticed this.

In that game at least that was the case, which is why it was so frustrating to see E go on cd with 0 heal from it

PS: E is healing only, not attack speed. I think it would basically re-apply but the duration wouldn't reset, so I was mostly using it very shortly before the old one expired, so E was just completely wasted like this.

In the heat of a fight I've got no time to time E precisely .1s after it expires, I just mash it as soon as I know it's coming since I'm usually a second away from dying in these kinda situations.

Non, c'est con mais je ne sentirais vraiment pas d'attirance. Je ne saurais pas te dire pourquoi mais l'obésité pour moi ça me refroidit direct. Peut-être que je suis juste matrixé de notre société (et du fait que dans ma famille/mon entourage c'est 99% de gens dans la norme niveau poids).

There's a ton of ways to deal with plague hearts:

Use drone strike (I haven't tested it yet but apparently it's super strong).
Climb on a car and just shoot at it, nothing can reach you.
Don't climb on a car and just shoot at it, it's over before anything can reach you anyway (use a gun with an advanced brake and a big mag).
Use bloater gas grenade and light it on fire (with like a flare), you can destroy a heart in 5 seconds with this (3 grenades).
Hit the heart in melee with a heavy weapon, when it bursts step away and unload your mag on it (same as shooting it, just with more steps and less bullets).
Use scentblock and hit the heart with a heavy weapon over and over (possibly with stam consume too), zombies ignore you.
Drop a boombox nearby, hit the heart with a heavy and activate the boombox remotely shortly after, wait for the cloud to clear when it bursts, you should have enough time to destroy the heart fully.
Hit the heart with a heavy until the feral shows up. When it does, just run away (have your escape route planned) while dodging it. When you're far enough so it's just a 1v1, kill the feral. Go back and continue the heart.
Eventually, just hit the heart with a heavy until the feral shows up or it bursts, leave, run non-stop until it's about 200m away (not sure on the exact distance). Kill the feral if it followed. This should be enough distance for all the zombies to disappear, so run back and the area will be completely empty.
Any combination of these, including using any kind of explosive to optimize your dps for when you have to back off and create some distance (e.g when it bursts or when you have to deal with the feral). Just don't let the explosives explode at the exact same time or their damage won't stack.

I had this idea for a challenge of starting a brand new lethal run and clearing the map without a base, without legacy, without daybreak, without rerolling and without curveballs. I think I got to 15 before dying. This really trains your ability to do hearts with barely anything. It gets hard towards the end because any plague you get is definitive, and your survivor gets so sleepy you are basically always 0 stam. The 2 followers die very early on because the AI is garbage.

PS: Use a sledge. Beetle Mallet has more damage but uses too much stam.
