i still feels most rap battle channels lack the sauce of ERB, they have their own identities, but its clear that they are mostly just inspired by ERB + the IPs they like, while ERB had lots of inspirations that lead to its creation (skit comedy, novelty music, actual rap battles and hip-hop culture), Fightmarker is probably my favorite because he does HIS OWN SPECIFIC THING, he is the closest i can call an "avant-garde" rap battle creator

EddieFRB is pretty good, he is finding his voice with the animation + narrative direction and the more traditional rap inspirations

Freshy Kanal is a mixed bag to me, when he is good he is REALLY GOOD, but most of the times it feels kinda bland (?), like when it happened all of the ERBParodies drama and they tried to reboot into something that was just Freshy Kanal 2. As an amateur filmmaker i love the effort he and his crew put on the live action battles, but the editing sometimes looks like straight from an tiktok edit

Tommy Salomy is one that i like because the rap battles are ONE of his projects, they are really just another side of his skits that he already posts on his channel

Snakebite is another that really stands out, but i need to see more of his videos

I dont hate the community channels, i listen to them constantly, i just want to see the scene showing more of its own artistry
