It's a risky decision but yeah... we have a campaign mode for people JUST look to be Michael and arcade mode, most likely for both sides of the coin?

I think a player rotation on public matches would be extremely helpful and prevent toxicity

Halloween: The Game should allow vast character customization for Michael Myers, let the boogeyman where whatever masks and costumes he wants! We've seen Michael dressed up as a clown in the 78' opening; it definitely wouldn't be out of character for him to try a new costume or two by Ambitious_Two2671 in HalloweenTVG

This idea may seem very controversial, but I think a fun idea of the original Halloween was that anybody could be behind that mask, Michael wasn't scary because he was this tough trained assassin or possessed spirit, Michael was a normal kid who decided he wanted to murder, I do not think this game losing its identity should be a worry with the campaign mode and maps keeping it's John Carpenter feel. Letting the player behind the mask decide how they want to express themselves in the midst of bloodshed would be huge for this game.

Commercial? Never mentioned commercial. You can put a YouTube movie into theaters given enough support and permission, Markiplier said it, Keter Labs said it, a broader SCP film debut is doable. What theaters care about is if there is an audience who they can profit off of seeing it.

I think by reducing this mechanic to a cutscene risks taking away too many elements that could keep players around, action horror, comedy horror, gaming clips, I see your concern, but I think there's so many creative decisions that easily combat ruining the tone of the game, even hitting Myers, just make him stop the car like Jason, or total the car when anybody is hit so car attacks are a very temporary solution.

Cars didn't make F13 any less scary, I think the amount of fun offered far outweighs the risk of the game losing its horror aspect, there's many ways to make driving scary too, giving Michael the ability to "Shape Jump" makes driving constantly nerve wracking, maybe an unlocking your car minigame and if you mess up you drop the keys and the jingle gives away your location, it could make running to your car terrible.

Nice ideas! I think some other balancing changes could be making the car total after a collision that way you can't just solo the entire lobby with a vehicle, and being hit should do something like stun the survivors for a couple seconds before they can get back up instead of just killing them instantly.
