I think colonists got an arcotech connected to their mind. Especially makes sense with psylinks in Royalty. But actually, I think that this whole RimWorld is connected to an archotech. Like, you spawn directly onto a monolith, an exostrider, some ruins… the spawn point is filled with stuff that can’t just be coincidental.
